The Lion's Daughter had already established a unique and successful sound for themselves on Skin Show, yet Bath House demonstrates that they’re not content to stand still. Hmm, on first listen I'm not digging this as much as Skin Show - I didn't really like the album before that either, so it's possible Skin Show will end up being an exception. Their use of synths is still distinctive and intriguing, but the songwriting here doesn't do as much for me as I'd like

Sounds good for me. But the presence of synths here is not as much as in the previous album, and the sound here is more direct, almost flirting with thrash metal in some moments.
