Rating: 8 Hmmm, any other Anthrax fans find this album a bit underrated? It's a lot more serious than ATL, maybe that turned some fans off. I believe the song writing on this album is some of Anthrax's best work.

what turned me off was the fact that the songs are extremely weak. The first bad album by Anthrax this Persistence IN Time, after this is also extremely weak. They only regained themselves momentarily with The SOund Of White Noise, which is the last good Anthrax album up to now.
Only Fistful, Spreading and Among are the true musthaves this band as recorded. Followed closely by Sond, the rest can be forgotten and thrown into the dustbin

I agree that this is really underrated! I have to force myself not to listen to it as often as I want to (i have it on cassette) just so it will still sound amazing. I gotta say that some of the songs on here really stay stuck in my head and they can be impossible to get out at times. Overall this is a contender for their best album, although choosing a "number one" Anthrax album is almost impossible and kinda pointless considering how good most of them are.
