Although this is clearly not typical standard deathcore there's still something about it that doesn't quite spark my interest and make me go wow this is good. There's occasional decent moments for sure, such as a few quality riffs and solo's here and there, which is to be expected, but the symphonic elements are nothing all that special and the vocals aren't to my taste either. "Lotus" is probably the only stand-out track for me, as well as the impressive cover-art.
