Viking lyrics can ne written for doom as well btw. Enjoyable album specially since latest A World To Drown In was out in 2003. Its same parallells whit time before albums whit other big Danish doom band Saturnus. To me this iks better doom as other fridays album My Dying Bride's new, I like this better.

Quite an accurate description, it's kinda like Hegg has become the new vocalist for Saturnus.

Just a beautifully crafted and excellently performed melancholic gothic doom album reminiscent of all the great acts from the genre, very much up there with Shores Of Null's release last year. If your a fan of My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Katatonia and Saturnus then you simply can't go wrong with this.

Magnificant album. I wasn't really captured by the magic by first listen, but now I'm through second play through and wow. I can imagine how this album will grow over time
