Draconian are among a myriad of bands that I discovered when I arrived at Metal Storm a couple of years ago. After seeing Arcane Rain Fell in the Top 100 albums page, I instantly became intrigued and decided to listen to it. I listened to it for the first time, and man, was I blown away! I immediately proceeded to download their entire discography; I was far from disappointed. Naturally, my expectations for the forthcoming Turning Seasons Within were very high, but the question at hand is this: Will Draconian be able to retain their consistency, or will they finally succumb to releasing an "average" album? Let's find out…
This album grew on me once I saw them play a good portion of the songs live. Good album.
I thought Draconian SUCKS live
When I saw them they were horrendous. They were live even worse than on album.
I would not say that their album bad
I can't seem to find a reason for you to hate them "besides the use of female vocals" I think they make High quallity Gothic Doom

That exactly what i think too...even i confess that this album wasn't there best at all.
My dream is to see them live, cause when After Forever spilted up, Draconian left the only band that I am really a fan of (well together with Madder Mortem). I still can't figure out why some doom fans, as Marcel, hate Draconian. Ok, maybe now they left just in Gothic metal, but the atmosphere and the mood is highly depressive. I found this album stunning. With all melodies, compositions, lyrics and vocals.
Out of all the male/female duos out there (that I've heard, anyway) Anders and Lisa compliment each other most pleasingly. This album was the first of Draconian that I heard and it is still one of my favorites.
As for Lisa's voice, I don't see what's wrong with it. It seems to blend with the music very well in my opinion. It gives additional emotion and depth to the music.

The Failure Epiphany - Epic, beautiful...
And for the ones who say that Draconian suck live, just a big LOL to them. You must have entered wrong show
I've recently listened to a lot of Draconian's music, and I do like it. This album in particular is very well structured, and i particularly like how the vocals work. The guitar work is a bit bland towards the end, but the atmosphere created provides a good background for the music. I haven't listened to any album released before this one yet, i guess I should.

if u haven't yet, i highly recommend arcane rain fell and where lovers mourn. I doubt u'll give this one 8 after listening to the others. And lisa's vocals are at their weakest, totaly devoid of passion as compared to the 1st two albums.
Yeah, I've listened to them all now I still think this is actually worth an 8 to be honest though, I couldn't really see anything that weak here.
