If you are saying Pantera are the generic knockoffs, then no I disagree that they are better than Exhorder, the pioneering originals. Much better lyrical themes on this album compared to Cowboys From Hell, the guitar tone is better, it is much more thrashy, the riffs are better, vocals are better, songwriting is more complex and more engaging, above all they have a highly volatile and violent sound that Pantera does not have.
