These days almost every single band labels their newest record as 'the heaviest/ most dynamic or the best album they've ever done', a comment that leaves most fans with a sceptic aftertaste. We've all heard that line before, in some cases it's proven to be true… but in others it's non-existent. In an industry where nowadays hundreds of musicians rise to the occasion, there is little variation in the scene. New bands recycle old ideas and cover lack of experience with top notch production, where as the older bands stick to their old ways and pump out records that have either been done by them before or done by someone else who's done it better.
20:24 - VezzyRattlehead I have a soft spot for Hendrix, Santana, The Doors, Daft Punk, Atari Teenage Riot, etc.
20:20 - MeloDeathViking I love non-metal stuff, up until a few years ago that's all i listened to, and I still listen to a lot, like Taylor Swift........maybe...... ..
20:19 - !J.O.O.E.! The other top 100 one contains quite a lot of non-metal so not sure anyone would appreciate that one. Yeah I do need to start thumbing up a bit more really.
20:16 - MeloDeathViking I still have to look at the other, I've decided to start voting for more lists, otherwise, why do we have the lists right?!?!
