The Final Countdown has been overplayed, but I still like it.

The title track is catchy I'll admit, but I still just plain hate it. It's just too much glam-pop sounding...too much.

I first heard "The Final Countdown" about 5 years ago (= before i really got into metal) during czech Superstar and found it awesome back i still can listen to it, but it isnt really what i adore...are the other tracks better in your opinion?

Still better than most of the American hair metal, glam/sleaze of the 80s.

totally true, at least the guys in Europe are proper musicians, as can be totally witnessed on their brilliant first two albums

Dat memorable intro of the title track...
Metropolis_Dream - 04.04.2013 at 22:21
Some good hard rock tunes here, for sure. But some really unnessecary ones aswell.
Bad English - 13.11.2016 at 03:08
Only problem whit this album was opening song, what ruined band rock roots and make some popsy band what posy chicks remembers, not what awesesome 1-2 album actually are, (yes are not was, still are)
I have to agree about us hair bands, well unless GnR what was better but otherwise true ... band did not lost in cocain and booze, its Scandinavian mentality
and ruck you Tobbe to tell me in 2005 this band is från Skellefteå
