At first glance, you get the impression that Thorns is one of those bands who have unfortunately fallen just under the radar. But upon further inspection, you find that Thorns (or at least Snorre) are right inside the eye of the Norwegian storm.   Just a masterpiece!

Played this for the first time driving home late at night the other day without checking the names of the tracks. As the music progressed I started thinking about existence, quantum mechanics (namely particles so small and uninfluenced by the effects of space-time/general relativity it could be said they are "Underneath the Universe") and the theory that our universe can come from nothing. I got home and noticed the song titles, needless to say minds were blown... coincidence? or perfectly executed composing?

This is some tasty black metal. Feels almost psychedelic at points.
