It was an key influence in the norwegian black metal from the eraly 90's. In fact, Lamounier traded messages with Euronymous back in the 90's.

Gorgoroth members claim that this album and Slayer's "Reign In Blood" are the best things ever.

Sarcofago's drummer was praised by his, at the time, innovating drum techniques.

And it's also regarded as one of the most blasphemous albums of all time.

Aside from music, the band imagery at the time is very influential as well, like shown in the album cover.

Rating: 10 Better than sepultura? Maybe... I'm pretty sure that antichrist would not follow the path of sepultura. If he had continued with the band.
