Great doom album. Although many of the tracks sound it first very similar it's the variation in the already great formula, deriving the crushing despair into the actual instrumentation,. which makes this album great.

to be stared at from across the abyss
is not bold enough
to stare into it himself.

Great album! What I love about both Isole and Ereb Altor (the other band of these guys) is that they have their own style not similar to any other band.

This was a disappointment, way too many progressive elements for my taste. Didnt like the drummachine at all and it lacks unforgetable riffs.

I didn't like the drums in certain areas and the songs seemed to slow down a little too much at the end. Forlorn and Nightfall are great tracks though.
