This album wasn't really all that good, but still a step up from the terrible To Death do us part album. It sounds a little different from their more recent albums...which I guess isn't really a bad thing, but they still need to retire.

You guys are all a bunch of judgmental weiners.
This album is unremarkably awesome, which is probly 10x better than their last album.
The songs are catchy.
Dont judge an album by its cover...

Much better than the previous album. i think i like more than the stench of redemption because that album is to technical for deicide. this new album is more brutal y direct.

The title is a nice pisstake on Stryper's To Hell with The Devil
Lol, I never cared about Stryper at all, but now that you mention it, it might indeed be so.
I can't forget about Stryper ever since they threw a bibles in the crowd and one hit me on the head at Dynamo Open Air 1987

I'm not blown away, but it has its moments. Better than the last album for sure, but nothing close to the greatness of the first two and Stench of Redemption. Angels in Hell is a great song.

Deicide's latest album begins predictably enough with some half-arsed riffs and equally as boring traditional death metal vocals, but that is only the first few tracks. From 'Conviction' it gets a little more interesting, what with the right balance of melody being incorporated into deicide's already blasphemous formula. Many people will cast this off as an album that doesn't really do anything for the genre itself, but i say that it's further evidence that deicide aren't showing any signs of letting up yet. The title track and 'How can you call yourself a god' are very good indeed.

I actually really dig this album, it was my first Deicide album and it's quite enjoyable.

Went back to this many years later and I must say, it's a damn good album. The title track is killer and there's wicked moments throughout.
