This album is musically worth much more than 3.6, it's not because it isn't rock or metal it isn't good. This is the style Peter likes. It isn't my favorite album neither but I like it and I think it's worth at least a 6.

All these 4 albums released the same day back in 1978 were solo albums but for some reason they were released under the Kiss banner (commercial reasons i guess); the albums featured a lot of session musicians ( so the line up above is incorrect). Of all 4, Peter Criss' album is the weakest as is the album of Gene Simmons. Ace and Paul did a nice job on their albums though.
