It's weird that I've not listened to this album as much as I have the other Aerosmith ones, especially as 'Dream on' and 'Mama kin' are two of my favourite Aerosmith songs from the 70s. Nonetheless, it proves to be a very good hard rock album, which is filled with somewhat simplistic yet satisfying songs such as nicely tuned opener 'Make it' and the excellent 'One way street'. I consider 'Dream on' to be the album's stand out track, purely because of how beautifully written it is, but 'One way street' is awesome itself if only for that brilliant Harmonica interlude. Also, Tyler's voice sounds really powerful at times, even if he would sound completely different on the band's latter releases.
