As for the new song... It's pretty solid. Reminds me of their older stuff. I do hope their is are more prominent lead melodies on this album than there is on this song though.

I know what you mean, it's just that after Twist in The Myth this is like reclining on an angel's wing, eating chocolate muffins, and drinking cold milk while David Bowie is whispering Keats in your ear (my idea of heaven, more or less).
I'm just sooooo happy they've brought back some of the older sound and added a few shades of something new (not universally new, just new to BG). My vote was as much for the song, as it was for renewed hope in a band I love.

"A Voice In The Dark" is a great song, finaly SONGS OF FIRE AND ICE is getting some BG love. They need to make full album in that setting.

The songs sound good, definitely closer to the old BG we all love than "Twist" was. Interest definitely piqued for the upcoming release. Well, piqued more than it already was, which is a lot.

I just got it, and it is awesome. I love "War of the Thrones," especially the chorus and the end.
