\m/ this is good album... but it's similar "2003 - Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty"
a little melo
more folky

i want more aggression... just like "2005 - Heralding - The Fireblade"
but this is another good album by Falkenbach, with very good atmosphere...

I dont like the album.........
Sounds like another band is ripping off Falkenbach from the of nefna tysvar tyr album, and if they were not doing it well.
I really miss the epicness on this album , too few and bad Black metal parts, cheap folk metal parts :this was on the whole a disappointment.:nono:

Its a good album, not their best... something is missing in my opinion.. the epicness, the atmosphere are still there, but in an inferior level..

Fuck anyone who give this album less than a 8.

I would have been satisfied with a single including: A) In Flames B) Runes Shall You Know [bonus].
Those other tracks are mostly nothing.

Indeed , but I also think In flames is a poor attempt to copy Where Blood will soon be shed , the other track is ok but still nothing if you consider the six 6 years he worked on the songs;
if the next album is as bad as this one I am going to burn my Falkenbach Shirt.................

As always - good music from Falkenbach. But this time there is lack of some "claws" or "fire" in it. Good epic, nice melodies but still no claws... I could give it 7. From the other side when you listen it at the evening or night (silence, black window, dark outside...) it shows its other face: best music for relax Than I can give it even 9. I assume that how you see this album is very related to your current mood.

So far I love this album. I've never been overwhelmed by Falkenbach before - this is their first album to actually hold my attention. Lovely! Good balance of everything.

I'm still underwhelmed. This album is very boring, it's not good when the best songs on an album are the instrumentals

^ Oh I love the instrumentals! But if you're hoping for big vocal performances then you totally have a point.

Well i will have to check Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty as it's being compared to it, specially as bad rip off, but as i was saying on falkenbach thread i like this album, i find Where His Raven Fly... and Tanfana to be the more interesting on the album.

I don't know why a lot of people find this album underwhelming, because although none of the songs are perhaps as immediately striking as on past records, the one thing that has always made Falkenbach the excellent band it is, is here in spades. That one thing is consistency. Consistency that never lets up until the very last minute. The album may take a while to actually hook you, but once it does, it really is worthwhile. '...Where his Ravens Fly...' and 'Tanfana' are beautifully executed.

I was really unimpressed with this album. It bored me and didn't keep me interested like the band's past releases.
