Not the best debut. It starts of really well with Night of the Demon and Into the Nightmare. Both classic hard rock track (bordering on heavy metal) with excellent melodies and choruses. The following track Father Of Time is also highlight, a bit slower and gloomier but equally good. The rest are straight up hard rock, nothing more nothing less, not bad but not memorable either. One Helluva Night is a frequent song in their live repertoire and it works a lot better live than it does here.

Man those two first tracks are soooo good. The other tracks are a bit more mediocre, not bad, but nowhere near the first two. Still, a very good album on average.

This is one of those records I grew up with. The intro alone is one of the best I've ever heard, then the next three songs are a highlight after highlight. The rest aren't bad in any way, they may not be as heavy metal as the first few, but they've grown on me. Decisions, Liar and One Helluva Night are another great songs. Also, I have to say I love that cover art, it's so simple yet so cool it immediately caught my attention when I first saw it.
