10:20 - Spirit Molecule Well not the festival goers, but for the artists. I guess if you're a metalhead you should be happy you don't have to shell out over 200EUR for a festival
10:17 - Spirit Molecule Anyway, in the end it costs a lot to pull off a festival of that scale, which is why tickets are expensive.
10:16 - psykometal Oh yea. You know they've got deals with local hotels for the festival goers who don't wish to camp out.
10:15 - Spirit Molecule The only way festivals like this would work is if they have support from local government and also brands. I'm sure they have a tie up with hotels etc
10:12 - psykometal If they own, then they have a full year's worth of mortgage and property taxes to pay for only using it 3 out of 365 days a year, depending if they rent it out at all during the other 362 days.
10:11 - psykometal Yup. Not to mention property costs. No clue if they own or rent. So if they rent, that's probably an expensive plot to rent since it holds 6 stages and over 50,000 occupants.
10:08 - Spirit Molecule And we're not even talking about production costs, which shoots up with every stage added, so 6 stages would be quite expensive.

So what kind of opinions other users have on this? I know I like this, but i'm not sure how much. There's lots of references in the song titles, which can be found from wikipedia. Anyway, one of my Shining favorites opens this record and I now open this topic with a captivating live version of it.
