Originally released on vinyl in December of last year and finally seeing its release on disc at some point a month and change later, Procession's full-length debut, Destroyers Of The Faith is now, finally, out.

Cult Of Disease, the Chilean doomsters' last release was so awesome that Marcel and I were going to fight to the death for the privilege of reviewing it before some peacenik hippie on the staff suggested we join forces - which we did. Said staffer also bribed us with copious amounts of booze and possibly GHB (not to be confused with GBH) ? I guess they didn't want to have to scrub out the bloodstains from MetalStorm Towers.

Doom, served up traditional Chilean-stylee. Powerful, emotive vocals paired up with awesome riff after awesome riff after awesome riff. We had lots of nice things to say about their 2009 E.P. "Cult of Disease", which set the bar high for this release... and they exceeded those expectations.

I think I've been on a doom withdrawal for the whole of 2010 because I don't even think I listened to any that year....until this (in early 2011 mind you). Great follow up to their EP and I have to say that not only is this stone-solid, but surprisingly adventurous too. Its those small touches like the acoustic bass opening and percussion work of "White Grave", and this bass lines of throughout the whole album. once again its great to here doom with clean vocals.

Riffs. Riffs everywhere. D: It's been a while since I listened to these guys so I decided to go back to their albums.
It's meat and potatoes. But damn if it's isn't some of the best stuff you can get. I gotta say it though... I'm fan of their more faster moments. That's where they truly shine if you ask me.
Although the intro from White Coffin is simply perfect.
