Rating: 9 I still haven't found a band that produces a similar sound to Gorguts. This album is definitely my favorite of their albums.

Malevolent Creation is quite similar, they are good, not on the same level as Gorguts though imo.

This record always makes me think of early Suffocation to be honest. As for 'Obscura', bands such as Baring Teeth, Diskord, Negativa and the new Flourishing EP all sound rather similar.

I love how in 'Orphans of Sickness' they expose the bare bones of the song for just a few seconds with just the bass and drums hammering away, its a cool little feature.

Rating: 9 My God .... ^Luc Lemay^ is very high.
There is no doubt one of the best vocals of death metal ...
