What a shocker this was in 1984 for Rush fans! Keyboards and electronic percussion...and alot of it! Favorite track has to be "Between The Wheels" - they have been playing this live sounds terrific!

Must have been a shocker indeed; still it's a solid album with some great songwriting if you ask me.

Just listened to this again recently, cool album, a darker Rush.

When it comes to the "synth-heavy" mid-80s Rush albums, this may just be my favorite from that time next to Power Windows. I really enjoy the songwriting on here, and even though the keyboards are a bit dated by today's standards, they still contribute to the atmosphere of the album splendidly. Some of my favorites are "Red Sector A," "The Enemy Within," and "Afterimage."
Ordinary men hate solitude. But the Master makes use of it, embracing his aloneness, realizing he is one with the whole universe (Lao Tzu).
