Rush is one of those "love or hate" bands, they have been around since the 70s, releasing countless albums and touring the five continents. Their one-of-a-kind progressive rock pretty much established itself as a staple of rock music for the past three decades. The Canadian trio is still regarded as one of the best bands touring nowadays. You get the picture, Rush are monsters of rock. And 1996's Test for Echo is in my honest opinion one of their most achieved records.

Probably my least favorite album of them. Really boring.

They say we'll be your friends we'll stick with you till the end
But everybody's only looking out for themselves
And you say who can you trust I'll tell you nobody

The band has stated they would like to re-record or re-produce the album because they did the guitars "all wrong". Takes some owning up to admit that!

I never liked the sound of this album. Imo, the production is too heavy for their kind of music.
