I used to hate this album. After years, it became somewhat enjoyable, the vocals still suck, but there's the young energy behind these catchy, punk-influenced riffs and maybe, a good debut album for an magnific band. Best songs: "Kip #40", "Shine" and "The Claim of Youth 2".

Rating: 10 Vocals are kinda bad (but interesting: you get used to them after a while), but the album has an interesting feel. It feels very different from the modern MTH (mainly because Key and Sugi were in the band back then). I really enjoy the song purple fire tail even though there is this strange break in between (Key's bass playing sounds awesome). Overall this album has a much very Thrash/ Hardcore Punk feel (not the post-hardcore Alesking Alexandria stuff, but more like the real true hardcore punk, which is good). I voted this album so high, because I believe it at least deserves a 7 (not a 5 or 6).

Rating: 10 To be honest, I start to like this album more and more! Shine is a particularly emotional track.
