"Firewind" seems to be a really unstable band if you're looking at all those line-up changes during the last years. It's like they're having a completely new line-up for each album, but since the main song writer and founder of the band is Gus G., they've managed to create a somewhat stable sound.
Although this is on my list of top 20 Power Metal albums, it's worth mentioning and funny that the intro riff and chorus riff/vocals on "Ready To Strike" are identical to those on "Children Of The Night" by Whitesnake. Also the intro riff on "Where Do We Go From Here?" starts like the intro riff on "Big City Nights" by Scorpions ...but overall this album is very heavy and interesing with "Allegiance", "Breaking The Silence" and "The Essence" being the best tracks and the high point of this album are definitely the solos.
