Let's be honest, the last album of the German Suidakra, "Command To Charge", was a big disappointment. I still don't understand why an original good band like Suidakra had to turn into the dark side of sell out Gothenburg Death Metal, it was really sad. But only stupid people don't want to recognize mistakes, and obviously Suidakra did its mea culpa and chose to return to its Folk roots with their new album, Calediona. Well done album, for sure. After hearing it twice now, or more (cannot remember), it's safe to say that the album didn't leave a huge impact on me. It just appears like one of those fine, easily listenable albums, but I don't feel too excited about it afterwards.

Very good album, but i have the sensation that the level of the album goes decreasing bit by bit since the first song until the end. On the other hand they got one of their best albums in sound (by the way, i love that bass =)
The winner here is clearly for me Highland Hills, awesome, and the loser is The Ember Deid (Part II) =)
