Rating: 7 Well, after one listen, I can say that I think this is somewhat of a step down from ZOP. It seems like more emphasis has been placed on the heavy side of things, and while that's great in some respects, I feel like he's lost a little bit of what made ZOP so special. Also, the vocal tracks are really not that great whatsoever. Further listens may change my opinion slightly, but I don't see this turning into a favorite.

Rating: 7 I love how Marty is a guest on this record. How Jeff's contact paved the way for Megadeth's most historical record (Rust In Peace) is underappreciated I feel. It was Friedman's style and poise that made RIP such a landmark.

Also, Christ Poland is on this as well and the last time I recall he's a very, very good shredder. Along with that this is probably the only record where you'll see ex-Megadeth members collabrating alongside Ihsahn; who's also cruising along with a promising and strong solo career himself.

This will be interesting to say the least.

Rating: 9 New album is better, than previous
R'Vannith - 01.05.2012 at 18:46
Rating: 8 Sort of zoned out for the first few tracks when I first heard this, forgetting that there were supposed to be vocalists on the album. I immediately woke up at Christine's vocals, I was honestly more interested in that than Jeff having his fun, as good as that is to listen to usually. But damnit Macalpine that's just showing off

I think that's good but i need more listens and i have to listen to previous release
BloodTears - 23.08.2012 at 12:41
Rating: 7 Some of it verges on very weak but it's compensated by some very cool bits. If only it wouldn't have those very bad moments...
