I was just listening to the last disk Seven Kingdoms (the truth it is impressive, i even like it more now, the singer is fantastic, great production, the album sounds really good, and truly an album very worked), and i have remembered i was waiting for the next album since it was announced, so I was wondering if somebody knows any news about it, i would be very grateful

I heard it and it was so-so, but I'm not a huge fan of female fronted bands - so I won't rate it because thats just a personal view.

After 5 or so listens... I feel it's a perfect PM release. No exessive power-chord abusse or chugga-chugga riffs that plagues the genre. Its very catchy with excellent riffs. I'd also like to note that the guitar tone has not been "thickened" like most power metal bands that are not on the symphonic bandwagon.

10 is a bit to much in my opinion. Only classics deserve that rating, i would as far as saying an album only deserves a 10 after passing the test of time.
Seven Kingdoms is a band that every power metal fan should keep a close eye. After 3 albums they still didn't disappoint.
I only heard this album a couple of times yet but I already included it in the best of 2012 list. Simple, Melodic, Powerful, Lovely, Simple...

Seven Kingdoms first came to my attention back in 2010 with their self-titled album which was a positive surprise but not without its flaws. With The Fire Is Mine I feel that the band has taken a step in the right direction of establishing a more personal sound.
This time around, the band does everything right in terms of creating great and playful power metal. It is a fast paced and melodic journey from start to end that only slows down briefly with the beautiful "Kardia" that really showcases the stellar vocals of Sabrina. Speaking of vocals, the outright horrendous harsh ones from the previous album are luckily gone which makes a huge differance for the flow and general sound.
A minor detail that now makes a return is the inclusion of lyrics based on George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire and as a huge fan of the series, that was something I really missed on the previous offering. Although this only applies to three of the songs it is still better than nothing and they are certainly the highlights of the bunch.
I would be very surprised if The Fire Is Mine did not end up being my favorite power metal album of the year.

This may be worthy of a 10; the biggest most GLARING problem holding it back is: WHAT the fuck is up with the 10th track "A Debt Paid In Steel"???? Just a short, pointless, out-of-nowhere spoken dialogue with acting and sound effects worse than the interludes from cheapest video game you ever bought.
Seven Kingdoms, why did you have to go all After Forever Invisible Circles on us and soil your glorious music with pointless (and poorly done) dialogue? Why?

I liked this very much yet I'm not sure whether the vocalist is male or female... he/she sounds divine either way

She is good isn't she. She's all over tracks like "Forever Brave", fantastic! Does the ballad "Kardia" very nicely too.

You should listen to Shadowside , you can't really be sure about the vocalist's sex . :p

I just discovered this band, and really like it. No symphonies for a change, but great riffing, and some Game Of Thrones-based lyrics (After The Fall, The Fire Is Mine, The King In The North)

Some great old school power metal with an awesome female vocalist that fits the music very well.
After the fall has a great chorus, and love the title track too.
