I just want to know which will be the re-recorded songs! (even when I don't like so much the trend to record again songs from the past in any band)

I once saw Hansi say in an interview that they were re-recording ATTWS with a real orchestra. Also something involving Kai Hansen. I'll have to search through their official forum, but I'll try to find the interview.

Yes, I have readed about that, just to imagine how it will sound the best song ever from this band with a real orchestra makes me await a HUGE ear-gasm.

Re-recorded version of "And Then There Was Silence"??? In no way was that necessary... Will be interesting to see how different it sounds.

It does sound different, believe me! And Valhalla is a killer, along with the Hobbit. Drums on The Hobbit are emphasized, which really makes a great impression.
This is the way to do the best of album!

And Then There was Silence is not recorded with a real orchestra. In fact I believe they barely touched the orchestral sounds. Still, the drums and guitars have been re-recorded and they kickass.
ATTWS would have been a killer song with an entire orchestra. I guess we'll have to wait until they make an orchestral show (they probably will, given the fact that their next album is entirely orchestral)

A little disappointed with the fact that ATTWS new version wasn't as I thought. Even though the stuff is worth (as usual in BG  ).

Superb compilations. All the best songs (only "Song for my Requiem" is missing, they are not playing it at concerts too - shit), Hobbit is a little bit better with these drums - if it is possible

Fantastic compilation....and yes,...The Hobbit and Somewhere Far Beyond are a megakiller songs in new verse.

I would change the song Follow The Blind by Banish From Sanctuary, and i miss Time Stands Still (At The Iron Hill) (maybe by Majesty in the Disc III) , the rest are great selections for me, and of course the added value of the Disc III (and nice versions =))

Seems that I was wrong about the orchestra on ATTWS. I really don't like that new watered down version.
Other than that, it's a good compilation.
