Not quite. This is more of a Devin Townsend influenced progressive metal album (though a little cleaner than some of his stuff) with a bit of Dream Theater influence in there. Super modern, super sleek, and with a lot of melodies that scare away the vast majority of extreme metal fans. Not me, though.
My obsession with this doesn't extend as far as it did with Dissona, but it is a great debut that promises even more. Definitely check it out.

I'm a bit wary when you say 'super modern' but otherwise it sounds like something for me.

A bit surprised to see these guys here, considering they've only just released their debut. It's a lot of Devin Townsend worship, but done very well even though I prefer Dissona as they have more of their own identity.
