I''m no Enslaved expert, but I've been told this is one of their most aggressive albums...I've heard their later ones and theyre a little too progressive...this one is balanced very nicely

Hmm, whilst this is still a relatively good album by all Black metal standards, I find it to be one of Enslaved's weaker albums. Of course it is very aggressive and very primitive (in terms of songwriting, song structures, etc.), but there is't quite as much of the epic atmosphere or brilliant quality that 'Frost' or 'Vikingligr Veldi'. It's still got its moments, it's not terrible.
