Cult of Luna rip off - heard so many great things about this band, kind of a let down. It's not bad, just not technical and complicated enough - a bit underwhelming. I have to check their other 2 albums, I know, I am going out of order, lol.

Huh, some CoL influences are indeed present here and there, but overall I wouldn't call it a complete rip-off. Far from it. And who said that it was meant to be technical or complicated? Aren't you being a bit too harsh? ;]

I agree that this album rips off Cult of Luna way too hard, to the point where the lack of originality hinders my enjoyment of it. It's a shame because it's a very good album otherwise.

Try the first two. The influence is there, but they both (especially the debut) maintain their punk routes.
