By now, I'm sure many of you have long been sick of this whole thrash revivalist thing. I don't blame you, as much as I love some popular offenders; these younger bands are more bent on re-writing the standard albums than the bands who wrote them in the first place. If modern thrash isn't your scene, feel free to keep scrolling.

Generic and fucking boring!
And also, "Kneel To The Gun" it probably the worst song of 2014.

The best way to describe it.

I was excited for Suicidal Angels new material and even got excited listening to snippet. But, then it was awfully average affair.

It's just like having a sour taste from eating your favorite Baskin Robbins ice-cream.

Yet more generic by numbers Thrash that would be considered 2nd rate filler in the 1980s and early 90s.

Even when the songs start of interesting enough (e.g. .In The Grave ) they denigrate into mindless Thrashing.

Stuff like Death Angel, Kreator and Testament proves there's life in the old Thrash beast whilst all these newer bands go back to making it sound like flogging a dead horse.

I suppose what is one to expect from a bunch of bands that are at best nostalgia tribute acts and at worst third rate clones.

I completely agree with your opinion, but I have one question: Have you listened to Suicidal Angel's earlier work?

No I have not. Is it better than this one or more of the same?

The first four albums are beyond amazing. They used to have a sound that you instantly recognized and were my all time favorite thrash metal group. Then this piece of crap came along... You should totally listen to songs like Bloodthirsty, Bleeding Holocaust and Pestilence Of Saints, before you form an opinion on the band.

I'll check em out.

Good albums. But, I never felt connected with SA. It is just that I've heard their weary tunes in much better version covered by other talented thrash bands.

So odds might be in favour you don't like those albums as well.
