We all know the story by now. Following the disbanding of Celtic Frost after the widely-hailed Monotheist, metal torchbearer Thomas Fischer announced the formation of Triptykon, a new project that would be dedicated towards continuing on in the vein of the final Celtic Frost album. The band's Eparistera Daimones debut showed a glimpse of Fischer's remaining committment to writing ominous, crushing music. Now, in 2014, Melana Chasmata cements it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this album and found it to be engaging from beginning to end. I'd also go as far as saying that I found it to be unique-sounding and very interesting. Also a + for the cover art. Giger is the shit!
Sidenote: why are there so many cynical, dishonest, pedant snobs on this site (this comment section being a solid example)? No wonder why the site is almost dead... Anyway, objectively, this album couldn't go below a 6 even if you really didnt like it.

I had to read the whole three pages only to find nothing to prove what you are saying. You may want to be more careful about how you refer to users of this site in the future, especially when there is absolutely no foundation for the adjectives you use.

None that you found, atleast. Doesnt mean there isn't any. I've seen people refering to each other in a far worse manner. What words are triggering you? Cynical, dishonest, or pedant? None are curse words, they're actual words used to criticize others. And since when does anything anyone says need to be based on proof, or do you just fancy yourself a fact-checker?

Are you talking about comments made relating to this album or comments made on this message board generally?

I think you need to get over yourself personally.

I don't think my previous comment needs any explanation and I don't intend to discuss it further here. If you have questions feel free to pm me. Now, let's get back to the topic, which is this - indeed great - album, shall we?
