There was once a stoner metal band that desired to take their music to new horizons. By "once" I mean this year and by "new horizons" I mean if you're after something refreshingly different then look no further, for Cosmic Child was born!

Rating: 8 Mastodon's members under pseudonyms taking us on an emotional adventure? Love it

Edit: Also sounds like Opeth at times, that is also very goot.

Rating: 7 An interesting combination of genres and a pleasant listen, but the music itself is quite derivative, and not simply similar to Mastodon, Opeth, Pink Floyd or Baroness.

Rating: 8 Shouldn't there be a 'the' in the title? The cd has one.

Yep. Just checked the cd here at home and both the album title and the song title are 'The Cosmic Child' Seems that someone took the info from Metal Archives where they have the album title wrong.
