I could go into reviewing the music of Devin Townsend's latest opus, the double-album Z2, but there is something nagging at me about the Ziltoid The Omniscient follow-up, Dark Matters, and its disc one companion, Sky Blue from the Devin Townsend Project.

Went back to Sky Blue again today, I honestly think it might be my favourite Devin disc - I've always found his music enjoyable but flawed, but even thought SB drops off in the second half, it has a really solid mix of his zaniness, poppy tendencies, lush atmospheres and more and I think it works well

Unfortunately I struggled to find the energy to care all that much to Dark Matters
