Hopefully this'll be as good as the previous album, because that one was great.

It's blackgaze?not much more to say. However, as someone who pretty much despises the genre, a 7 from me is probably close to a 10 from anyone else. Plenty of emotions here and I was able to sit through the whole thing. Not much variety, but enough energy to keep it from becoming completely boring.

So far I listened to this one twice and it's definitely not as good as the previous album I'd say. Will spin it a couple times more to know for sure though.

I really liked "Try Not To Destroy Everything You Love", but i am really digging the atmosphere in this one!

That one is way better than this one... at least that's what I think at the moment. I listened to it a few days ago and I was amazed how amazing that album is.

Found myself very pleasantly surprised with this album, just as much as the previous record "Try Not to Destroy Everything You Love". Whilst I still prefer that album by a margin, "The Long Goodbye" still has many golden moments which I never tire of. I think there's a more simplistic approach generally in regards to the songwriting side of things, but the momentum and consistency throughout is kept at a very high level, making for a fluent record if not an overly complex one. My personal highlight would be 'Endless Skies', but I couldn't really find any filler material here so every song is as useful as the next.

Their consistency is impeccable, if you like any of their albums chances are you'll like the rest of their discography.
