Yup, this is fucking twisted. In a very good way, indeed. I wouldn't compare it too much to BAN though honestly, aside from the wobbly dissonance and Lovecraftian aesthetic of the cover. Other than that it definitely has its own thing going on. Blastier, and much more of a vocal presence. This guy's howls are ferocious.

No shame bumping it to a 9 now, I think it’s well earned. This is a real “hear something new on each spin” type album, and as far as the swirly psychedelic effects Ben’s playing with are concerned, dude must have a fucking retarded - level pedalboard set up. God DAMN

This didn't really blow me away. It's fine. Sounds more like a mix of Esoctrilihum and sometimes in some rare moments Imperial Triumphant? Honestly the biggest torture here is knowing that the cover art on bandcamp is full of Tesla(TM) signs

This is such a powerful, sinister, and unforgiving release, it's unlike anything I've heard this year. The vocals are bloody terrific, probably the most menacing and demonic growls I've heard this year in fact, and the tone is relentlessly crushing. It's certainly not the easiest to listen through or get into, and can actually be rather uncomfortable and frustrating at times, kinda the same way I find with most Blut Aus Nord releases, but with enough concentration and patience it certainly rewards you in the end.

This leans more death metal than black metal to be honest, and I'm not sure why it is being compared to Blut aus Nord. Excellent production and very well-executed indeed.
