It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Northern California's SHADOWKILLER are living proof that raw talent, ambition and honesty can still prevail in a very large metal music community. With their debut record Slaves Of Egypt, and sophomore album Until The War Is Won, they look to expand their world wide fan base with their new partners at Pure Steel Records!
By aligning their unwavering dedication to the do-it-yourself work ethic with a signature sound, singer/guitarist Joe Liszt, bassist Dan Lynch, drummer Gary Neff, and guitarist Marc Petak have helped to define the landscape of today's nor cal metal music scene. The backbone of their work? Stylistically metal songs, suggesting a range of influences from Iron Maiden to Symphony X to Savatage.

These young musicians from Australia have released an incredible debut EP and show promise of creating an amazing first album. This is simply one of best debut EP's I have heard. It even has some mandolin and cello instrumentation added to the songs. There is PLENTY of Tin Whistle playing as well as some Low Whistle playing. I love it! Valhalore also contains my favorite metal song of 2015, the last track of the EP titled Across the Frozen Ocean. The epic metal harmonies/choir accompanying the lead singer on this track are superb and I can't get enough of this sound. The first 1:22 is an incredible instrumental opening and makes me think the band is capable of writing an awesome and epic instrumental number if they wanted. I can't get enough of Valhalore as it is extremely well done and contains some very catchy songs. More importantly, it fits my taste in epic metal with a good amount of speedy power metal added to the songs. Valhalore came out of nowhere to completely catch me by surprise.

Lucid Dreams is a hard rock band from Oslo, Norway. Formed in 2007 by Silvester Pozarnik, Rune Hagen and Rune Gutuen. Their musical style is energetic riff based heavy metal with a progressive touch, but without getting into 30 minutes of storytelling combined with 15 minutes of guitar solos.
Rune Gutuen is one of Lucid Dreams' two riffmasters. In addition to the important part of composing ear catching riffs, he's also the man behind the melodic guitar solos you can hear in tracks like Cassie's Escape. He also figures as Lucid Dreams' engineer and producer at this point.
Silvester Pozarnik was Lucid Dreams' other riffmaster and the man behind the more twisted guitar solos you can hear in tracks like Paranoia. He's a master in using his guitar to create great sound effects, and he has been an important piece of creating the Lucid Dreams sound. In spring 2012, sadly, he quit the band.
Freddy Vain on vocals is the melody maker and lyricist of Lucid Dreams. He is an experienced singer in the heavy metal genre, and is also known from bands like Trendkiller and Mudslide.
In January 2012, Thorleif Østmoe joined on keyboards. His impact on Lucid Dreams live performances has been formidable, and Lucid Dreams now seems like a more complete band than ever!
No heavy metal band is complete without a heavy, hammering bass guitar. Jan-Erik Lysø and his 5 strings provides that very important thundering bass. Steady as a rock, the way a bass player should be. In addition to being half of Lucid Dreams' bottom line, he's doing the backing vocals on some songs.
Ådne Olastuen Brandås joined the band in April 2012 to replace Silvester. At the age of only 18 he is an incredibly talented guitarist, with a lighning fast picking technique, and with a background in jazz, gypsy and spanish guitar music he is an exiting new addition to the band.
Last, but not least: Energetic, hard hitting drummer Rune Hagen is the other half of the bottom line of Lucid Dreams. With his double bass drums he's driving the band forward and acts like the glue that keeps us moving together in the same direction.
Lucid Dreams are constantly writing new songs, and focus a lot on the details in their music.

For far too long metal has been a young metalhead's game. But what about those in the 80+ yrs range, with serious issues amongst the elderly they need a voice and Palliative Care provide that.

It is a band that draws inspiration from Therion, Diablo Swing Orchestra and Apocaliptyca. The vocalist, Janika, has a great voice both studio and live! Here is one of their best songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jrY31IgBhg

Mondo Generator (sometimes known as Nick Oliveri And The Mondo Generator) is an American rock hybrid band founded in 1997 by Nick Oliveri. The name of the band originated when Brant Bjork spray-painted the words on the side of Oliveri's Sunn amplifier. Mondo means "world" in Italian. The Oliveri-penned Kyuss song appearing on the 1992 album Blues for the Red Sun also took its name from this event, and the amplifier itself appears in the artwork for the album.

It is a very promising band. Style of play rival bands like The Black Dahlia Murder, Aborted, Benighted. They gather an increasing fan base in Poland and Europe. In 2012 they won the Polish eliminations WackenMetalBattle and they played on the biggest metal festival in Europe. So far they released one studio album EP "Last Cut", which collects positive reviews. The band plans to release a second album in mid 2016 years. The title is not yet known. Profile of Devil's Note on MetalStorm.net will certainly help them in gaining wider group of fans and audience of their work.

This is one of the very few death metal bands of my city (mar del plata) and surrounding areas, and one of even fewer metal bands wich has at least one record and another one in progress... It would be the first on MS and it would help the local scene. Their style is death metal, but they have some doom influences as well as progressive death and thrash.

LAZY BONEZ was formed in early 2012. Actually it was pure accident as some members from TAROT met some other cool metalheads from ETTR and D-CAYED.
First it was meant to be only a short studiosession of two songs, but... As the result sounded way much better than expected, the guys then decided take the long way and make the full album. AND NOW IT'S READY!!!

Krysthla was forged into being during 2012 and proudly boasts four of the original members (Neil Hudson, Noel Davis, Carl Davis, and Wayne Minney) of UK metal legends Gutworm (SPV/Steamhammer and Anticulture Records 1998-2010) joined by Adi Mayes, influential former frontman of metal heavyweights Deadeye (2000-2009). After spending over two years writing and perfecting a new sound and crafting tracks worthy of taking on the metal world once again, Krysthla are already stamping their mark on the UK metal scene.
With years of experience both live (multiple tours and major festival appearances across Europe and the USA) and recording (Label releases with distribution through Plastic Head and music videos on MTV, Scuzz and Kerrang!) under their collective belts, they have the expertise and talent to lay down truly crushing performances
