It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Juodvarnis is one of the not so many active metal bands in Lithuania. They've just released their second album "Mirusio ×mogaus kelionė" (Journey of a Dead Man). Already the band have played in Wacken Open Air, Devilstone Open Air, Hellfast Attack, Mėnuo Juodaragis and other festivals and are planning future gigs, primarily album presentation gigs and summer festivals. I believe they deserve to be known for their honest performance and dedication to what they do.

info: Brünndl is a black pagan band coming from the lands included between Bassano del Grappa and the highlands of Asiago, North-eastern Italy. Gathered since 2010, the band owes its name to the ancient Germanic definition of the river Brenta, which runs aside the highland and breaks through Bassano.
The root brun- refers to the meaning "spring, source, font", as the origin of all comes from water, specifically in this case, a river; and this band's inspiration too.
On these highlands people used to speak a very old Germanic dialect, known as Tzimbar, a language which brings in its words powerful and untold meanings, which are constantly researched by the band.
From their isolated ancestors and their culture, the members draw the other side of their inspiration. They were just woodsmen, shepherds, hut's owner, born where Norse mythology meld with Venetic tradition in a mixture that is still alive now, even if rare and probably doomed to disappear.
Asiago is a melting pot, as a cauldron where different elements were put together to get a real balance formulation.
Songs are sung both in Tzimbar and Italian, texts are about heritage and nature, folklore, alchemy and philosophy hidden behind legends or simple stories. The great expressed through simplicity.
This new disc as well as the first demo is a journey, each song is a step to arrive at the ending where a new awareness can be found: in fact, it is a kind of realistic myth or dreamlike path in five chapters and an interlude.
Raw and folk sounds, screams and choirs, they all come in one to spread deep contrasting feelings, in order to share the band's thoughts and emotions with the listener.
It is an experience of old school black metal which would open itself to new horizons, by means of alpine heritage and unusual lyrics.

We are a band from Serbia and after all these years of war, poverty and suffering since our youth - we deserve recognition for our devotion to metal music. We are more than a metal band as we present art as activism.

We have attented too many funerals. We bought a bunch of amps. Actually far too many for our actual musical skills. We fire them up and find the worst sounds imaginable and do-able. The ones that can peel you skin with screeching feedbacks and shake your bones with the deepest, most rumbling bass. Feedbacks high as Heavens and bass frequencies that can reach down below. Expect nothing except a blackened funeral mass. Funeral Drone. Funeral Noise. Not Music.

Innate Concept's musical identity is rooted in the Progressive Metal genre - and the word "progression" is to be taken literally. Innate Concept strives to incorporate elements, instruments and ideas normally not found in classic Progressive Metal. The newest album "Sunset In Our Eyes" combines elements from electronica and classical elements into a whole new and unique sound. A multitude of synthesizers create the atmosphere, color and texture, the mighty Taiko drum ensemble delivers power, groove and impact, while the Armenian Duduk conjures up ethereal melodies, adding yet another layer to the rich-bodied symphonic orchestra. A piano and various acoustic guitars are another integral part of melodic storytelling and quite frequently intertwine with other instruments. All of this takes place planted firmly on the foundation of thundering drums, shredding guitars and a nasty, angry bass. Innate Concept's music is challenging, demanding, cunning, powerful, intense, yet so delicate and fragile. Be prepared, for it will demand your full attention - and it will surprise you if you dare a listen. Debut album can be purchased at http://www.innateconcept.com/shop/
