It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Female fronted Progressive Metal band from Netherlands.
ReSolve was started in Den Haag (The Hague) by friends Gregory van der Hoeven (drums) and Lennert Kemper (guitars). In 2010, the two musicians combined their talents with the idea to compose and perform the music they had always wanted to make, resulting in their own Progressive Metal sound that was familiar and accessible, yet musically challenging and diverse at the same time. After a turbulent first few years going through many changes and struggles with finding members, they found their final line-up in 2014. This line-up consists of Fabian Blomsma on synths, Justus Ebel on bass and Radina Dimcheva on vocals. All members of this line-up bring their own unique flavour to the ReSolve mix, resulting in a sound that is not commonly heard, but still very engaging to listen to.
The band has been working hard and the result of this hard labor will be the debut-album entitled 'Wayward Sanctuary', that is slated for release on October 10th, 2015, through Layered Reality Productions. After that, the band will be taking to stages in The Netherlands and beyond to show that they are willing and able to show the world what they have in store!
ReSolve has taken matters in their own hands now and are hungry to take the future head-on as masters of their destiny!

Doomocracy is a doom metal band from Heraklion, Greece.
The band was created by Minas Vasilakis on drums, Angelos Tzanis on guitar and Michael Stavrakakis on vocals. The three of them have been good friends and band mates for almost a lifetime.
They started rehearsing together during the summer of 2011 to pay tribute to the doom metal scene and bands like Candlemass, Black Sabbath, Memento Mori and Solitude Aeturnus. After a few months they were joined by good friends and musicians, Manolis Sx on bass and Harry Dokos on guitar.
Having completed the band's line up and full of energy and inspiration, they rehearsed intensively to compose doom metal music from the heart.
The ideas were floating and the first 4 songs were composed in less than 3 months. The band continued rehearsing while searching for a band name. They decided to call themselves Doomocracy.
By the end of 2012 Doomocracy had completed composing the tracks for their debut album "the end is written" and started pre-production. At the same time they started looking for suitable places to record and mix their album.
The band entered "Mad Hat Music" studio in Heraklion Greece, on July 2013 and finished recording on September 2013. Nikos Vogiatzakis was the sound engineer and his help and advice was a great asset to the final result.
After many conversations with European studios and sound engineers, Doomocracy came to the decision to work with Daniel Bergstrand at "Dug Out Productions" in Uppsala Sweden, for the mixing of "the end is written".
Daniel Bergstrand is an established metal producer that has worked with many great metal bands, such as Meshuggah, In Flames, Dimmu Borgir and Evergrey. The mixing process was complete on the 15th of October 2013, giving Doomocracy that raw, powerful and heavy sound they were looking for.
Tailor Maid music production and Peter In De Betou was Doomocracy's 1st choice for the Mastering of "the end is written".
Peter is an expert when it comes to Mastering. He has worked with countless metal bands such as Morgana Lefay, Memento Mori, Entombed and so many more.
Peter did a fantastic job, giving Doomocracy's debut album, a production worthy of the effort and passion the band has given to produce this album.

Gregoriev is a one man project of the Polish songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Grzegorz Morawski. Born in 1985, the musician has been present on the Polish underground metal and rock stage since 2002 as a founder and member of numerous musical acts. He released demos and EPs with such bands as Ex Anima, Second Nation, Tandeta and, lately, Skóra Świata, for which he remains an active lead guitarists.
Exploring new musical dimensions, Gregoriev turned to the darker side of rock and roll. He reached to where life boarders death, sanity meets madness and grief struggles with hope. As an inspiration served the great work by Jonathan Carroll, 'From the Teeth of Angels'. The novel tells about human beings forced to confront death, appearing in the forms none would ever expect. Experiences of the book's characters were the afflation for the melodies that created the 'When Death Comes' album tracklist.
The influences behind the first debut album of Gregoriev are to be found in different musical kinds. The delicate verses revive the memories of Nick Cave's ballads, clear and straight distorted chord progressions correspond with the rawness of Rammstein, disturbed pianos and strings remind of the dark and dreary achievements of classics like Type o Negative and Paradise Lost.
'When Death Comes' is a concept album, based and inspired by the novel 'From the Teeth of Angels' by Jonathan Carroll, Right now Gregoriev is completing the band and preparing for the first live performance. In the meantime, sequel material is underway...

Energy Of The Elements is an Italian symphonic power metal band, formed in 2008.
Their music has theatrical, orchestral, symphonic, classical and progressive inspiration, accompanied by fantasy epic and mythologic (mostly Greek and Christian) lyrics.
The band led by the Balliano brothers, Fabrizio and Riccardo (voice and guitar), created a work that shows their unconditional love for the power metal sounds from center / north Europe. Their music shows innate sense of melody with elements coming from symphonic metal that stand out while listening to the band's debut promo entitled "Heavenly Force".
In this moment they're working on the production on their first full-length, more news will come soon.

Northern California's SHADOWKILLER are living proof that raw talent, ambition and honesty can still prevail in a very large metal music community. With their debut record Slaves Of Egypt, and sophomore album Until The War Is Won, they look to expand their world wide fan base with their new partners at Pure Steel Records!
By aligning their unwavering dedication to the do-it-yourself work ethic with a signature sound, singer/guitarist Joe Liszt, bassist Dan Lynch, drummer Gary Neff, and guitarist Marc Petak have helped to define the landscape of today's nor cal metal music scene. The backbone of their work? Stylistically metal songs, suggesting a range of influences from Iron Maiden to Symphony X to Savatage.

These young musicians from Australia have released an incredible debut EP and show promise of creating an amazing first album. This is simply one of best debut EP's I have heard. It even has some mandolin and cello instrumentation added to the songs. There is PLENTY of Tin Whistle playing as well as some Low Whistle playing. I love it! Valhalore also contains my favorite metal song of 2015, the last track of the EP titled Across the Frozen Ocean. The epic metal harmonies/choir accompanying the lead singer on this track are superb and I can't get enough of this sound. The first 1:22 is an incredible instrumental opening and makes me think the band is capable of writing an awesome and epic instrumental number if they wanted. I can't get enough of Valhalore as it is extremely well done and contains some very catchy songs. More importantly, it fits my taste in epic metal with a good amount of speedy power metal added to the songs. Valhalore came out of nowhere to completely catch me by surprise.

Lucid Dreams is a hard rock band from Oslo, Norway. Formed in 2007 by Silvester Pozarnik, Rune Hagen and Rune Gutuen. Their musical style is energetic riff based heavy metal with a progressive touch, but without getting into 30 minutes of storytelling combined with 15 minutes of guitar solos.
Rune Gutuen is one of Lucid Dreams' two riffmasters. In addition to the important part of composing ear catching riffs, he's also the man behind the melodic guitar solos you can hear in tracks like Cassie's Escape. He also figures as Lucid Dreams' engineer and producer at this point.
Silvester Pozarnik was Lucid Dreams' other riffmaster and the man behind the more twisted guitar solos you can hear in tracks like Paranoia. He's a master in using his guitar to create great sound effects, and he has been an important piece of creating the Lucid Dreams sound. In spring 2012, sadly, he quit the band.
Freddy Vain on vocals is the melody maker and lyricist of Lucid Dreams. He is an experienced singer in the heavy metal genre, and is also known from bands like Trendkiller and Mudslide.
In January 2012, Thorleif Østmoe joined on keyboards. His impact on Lucid Dreams live performances has been formidable, and Lucid Dreams now seems like a more complete band than ever!
No heavy metal band is complete without a heavy, hammering bass guitar. Jan-Erik Lysø and his 5 strings provides that very important thundering bass. Steady as a rock, the way a bass player should be. In addition to being half of Lucid Dreams' bottom line, he's doing the backing vocals on some songs.
Ådne Olastuen Brandås joined the band in April 2012 to replace Silvester. At the age of only 18 he is an incredibly talented guitarist, with a lighning fast picking technique, and with a background in jazz, gypsy and spanish guitar music he is an exiting new addition to the band.
Last, but not least: Energetic, hard hitting drummer Rune Hagen is the other half of the bottom line of Lucid Dreams. With his double bass drums he's driving the band forward and acts like the glue that keeps us moving together in the same direction.
Lucid Dreams are constantly writing new songs, and focus a lot on the details in their music.
