It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Survivor is a classical rock band. Many people know of this band hits - anthems but unaware of the other great songs and albums.

21.08.2012 - Jaeryd17
I believe they're sufficiently metal enough if you consider the fact that most of they're stuff is based off of original heavy metal/hard rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, etc. It's not as "heavy" or as "metal" as some of the stuff you hear nowadays, but it's still metal/hard rock.
And yes, definitely MASTER EXPLODER.
27.01.2013 - Lit.
The Metal is a good enough reason for them to be on here. Let's put them with the group of other parodies like Dethklok, Steel Panther, Spinal Tap, etc.

Infinity's Call is a 4 piece hardrock band from Ulm, Germany consisting of members already having good names in the rock szene.
In 2004 the band dropped the first CD „Light in the Dark" on the market, which generated quite a buzz and good sales figures for a self release. The next years the band toured and also saw some line up changes.
Now Infinity's Call is complete again and recorded a new album entitled „Unconditional"
Melodic yet heavy, diverse although consistend sounding.
You'll find groovy mid-tempo hard rock songs and fast melodic metal songs side by side on this album.
Always with the extra amount of musicality and creativity which makes for good rock music. In the spirit of the eighties yet alive and fresh sounding - crowned by hooky choruses and majestic harmonies.
A timeless hard rock album which revives the spirit of an era.
01.10.2014 - Ekim Reklaw
REKLAW should be added to this website because, the band has created 14 albums (EP's and Full Length combined) spanning from amateurish garage recordings to "high quality" black metal. Also, the band has also been posted on metal-archives.com, so it only makes sense for metalstorm to do. The band also just recently signed to a record label, so it is not just some small unknown independent artist.

John Paul Jones, former bass and keyboard player of Led Zeppelin. He released two solo albums that are pretty heavy. Not only for fans of Led Zeppelin, but for those who like interesting Rock music.

Shaft of Steel are a melodic metal band influenced by acts such as Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, Rush, Queensrÿche, Edguy, Whitesnake, Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian. We combine these influences with our love of classic and contemporary AOR to create something that we believe is truly unique.
We have just finished working on our debut EP with the legend that is Dennis Ward (of Pink Cream 69/Unisonic/Place Vendome fame), which also comes with artwork by Felipe Machado Franco, designer for the likes of Blind Guardian, Iced Earth and Rhapsody of Fire.

Born in 2006 as a Gamma Ray tribute band they started composing their own song in late 2009.
After some line-up changes they found the right recipe for their first release: the EP called "TerminUs" (june 6th 2012) available on cd and digital download.
They also feature in the "HelloRay - A tribute to Helloween & Gamma Ray" album by Epicus Records (2012) with their "Land Of The Free" cover.
The story goes on with Andrea Serafini on vocals and with the release of the next full length album "Beyond", to be released in 2014.

This is about quality post from Thessaloniki, Greece. Their unique sound, focusing on building riffs over song's length, adding many elements (melancholic/atmospheric approach, warm rhythmic, even groovy/melodic riffs) and different instruments like cello and violin makes 'em an uprising band.
29.09.2014 - RodhaFlo
Hi, Rodha is an acclaimed german Sludge/HC/Doom act from Hamburg with a particular DIY-attitude. We played Gigs with Eyehategod, Kylesa, Kadavar, Kongh and many others over the last years. Our first full length 'Welter Through The Ashes' has just been released through Bandcamp and mail order.
Here's the video for the title track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzofyDVyuU0

Season of Ghosts is the project of ex Blood Stain Child vocalist Sophia. She describes the music as 'a combination of extreme metal and rock sounds, harsh electronics and powerful, compelling vocals, through the eerie spectrum of a sci-fi, horror movie'. The debut album 'The Human Paradox' will be relased 8th December 2014.
02.11.2014 - Nacur
Kudos for un-blacklisting them! Let's open our minds!
They play live in metal festivals, have members from other metal bands in Japan (check the bio of their band members), and, on top of all, are actually a pretty decent group.
03.11.2014 - Ruchesko
They were un-blacklisted? Kudos, MS. - The touring band don't lack metal cred either - guitarist #1 tours with Marty Friedman and guitarist #2 is Galneryus's ex-bassist
26.09.2014 - João Pirucas
New band formed by ex-members of Obscura, Christian Muenzner and Hannes Grossmann, Linus Klausenitzer (Obscura), Morean and Danny Tunker. The band has just started to record their debut album. The release can be expected in early 2015.
25.09.2014 - Heka69
Have only released an EP so far, but the production quality hints of a professional take on their musical career, so in no time there should be a real album coming out. Fast and brutal, definately metal. Touring with Fleshgod Apocalypse.
