04:49 - Redn1ght Closest thing to death I've felt was when I had to do some badass-level ab workouts in TKD class. xD (I wasn't as fit back then.)
04:44 - Dima We did it for an 1hr straight. Team ran a square route in a 2 line formation. The 2 people at the front would sprind around the square to reach the back of the line. It was closest thing to death i've felt but worth it big time
04:42 - Dima That's what we did for football training. We got fit abnormally quickly. Though, you likelywon't last as long as you could because you don't have a coach getting ready to let his lungs off at you if you quit.
04:36 - Redn1ght Something like what I was implying, short laps equivalent of that length. It's only good for endurance once you got basics down. :P
04:35 - Dima jogging on its own is pretty gheeyyy imo. Based on my expereience, sprint jog interval training is much more beneficial.
04:28 - Redn1ght What I've found is that doing it in short sets gets better result than long ones, like not 1 hour runs but rather shorter runs that equal to the same distance.
04:16 - !J.O.O.E.! My diet was terrible, though under 2500 calories. And I've never been overweight. Well within my BMI.
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Most important thing is the multi-talented vocalist extraordinaire Christian Alvestam is in this band and performs vocals, guitar, bass and programming. It is a new black/death metal project of Christian that started in 2014 in Skövde, Sweden. As stated by themselves, it is our take on the Nordic death- and black metal style of the mid-90s. A sound many times driven by melodic riffing, fierce vocals and folk music-ridden soundscapes. I guess you could say this is us - respectfully - paying tribute to that specific musical period of time and its progenitors.

Kriogenum is a non-profit project. Everything they have achieved during last six years - the fruits of their own labor. The band was formed in 2008. The guys had been experimented with styles and sounds, until they has come to a certain symbiosis of progressive, industrial and modern trends of "metal". Over the years of existence of the band there were a lot of different performances, including concerts and festivals in the cities of Crimea: Yalta, Saki, Simferopol, Sevastopol, festivals in the cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, participation in the international festival METAL HEAD MISSIONS. Perhaps the most striking achievement of the band was the participation in the International festival of alternative music METAL CROWD-2013 in the town of Rechitsa (Belarus). Kriogenum not only "lit" the audience, but also received high praise from headliners of the festival, such "monsters" of the world metal scene as Sybreed (Switzerland). Kriogenum among many other underground bands demonstrate the European-level of skills and mastery. The compositions of the band contains liveliness, complexity and mad energy.

Axolotl is the Mexican Walking Fish, but ironically it isn't a fish at all but it is in fact an amphibian. So these guys have been pumping out some really good Melodic Death Metal since 2007 and they have produced numerous albums in that time.

These newcomers are set to tour with major Progressive outfit Riverside this September.
They provide a new take on the progressive, more oldschool, sound of metal.
Definitely a worthwhile band!

From Algarve based Portuguese Thrash/Death Metallers Murk are certainly very theater and visually being all covered up in murky gray paint. Recent "Tyrants of Decay" EP with a few splices of death metal and some acoustic nuances is somewhat interesting. The striking resemblance of vocalist Nuno Faria's voice to Testament's Chuck Billy vocal register of the "Demonic" era. A decent band which first video clip is ready coming up on October.

Chronostasis was formed in the fall of 2013. The infancy of Chronostasis was just a mere collaborative idea Josh and Jeff were pondering in the winter months of 2013. After reading much articles from Stephen Hawking, Neil Degrasse Tyson, and Albert Einstein, along with undergoing rigorous musical training, Josh and Jeff decided to try and emulate the phenomena of time, nature and the cosmos through the artistic medium of music. The idea was pitched to Pat Harris in September of 2013, and the rest is history.

The birth of the album: Signs Revealed of the band Mindcrafter began to take shape in 2008 when Phelipe Henriques (vocalist and guitarist) invited former members Pedro Mattos (guitar) and Mariano Belem (bass) Vinicius Moniz (vocals) and Gustavo Rodrigues (drums) for the initial formation of the band . The Night Wizard, Avatar and Black Crowned Heart (villain): In this first stage 5 theme songs that revolve around three characters were developed. The story is inspired by the supernatural relationship of humans with their characters and the saga of Avatar in his journey into the unknown.
After the departure of these members , Phelipe Henriques concludes the story with 5 more songs , some of these tracks still in collaboration with Mariano Belem and Schneider Souza. In order to innovate the album brings a sound with non-traditional harmonies and some dissonant moments, brazilian rhythms and alternating bars traditionally linked to Prog Metal , plus a dynamic vocal. The album was recorded between May 2012 and December 2014 in the studio HR , Rio de Janeiro. Mixed and mastered by Daniel Escobar.

Last Joker was formed by Miguel Mega, Portuguese guitar player, in the late eighties in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil.
In 1990 Last Joker recorded their first demo tape with the songs " Without You " , " Last Joker " , " Hold on Tight " and " Every Night " and started a career playing for eager crowds in the São Paulo state.
Because of their musicality , stage presence and sold out concerts they got the attention of Metal Rock Records and recorded their first LP simply called " Last Joker " and toured Brazil supporting bands such as Sepultura, Angra, Dr. Sin, RDP among others. In the middle nineties the band broke up and Miguel Mega moved to LA and started a solo career and released around 10 instrumental solo cds and appeared on several compilations alongside Greg Howe (Howe II, Michael jackson, Maragold), Kiko Loureiro (Angra, Megadeth) among others .
In 2014 Miguel Mega moved to the UK and regrouped Last Joker with singer Roddy B. (Avenger, Abbadon), guitarist Yves Martin, bassist Al Pringle and drummer Adam Proud and have just recorded their new cd release for Into the Limelight Records, Last Joker - Ulterior Motives and have released the video clip for the single " Kissed by the Lake".
When the A&R scouts of Into The LimeLight Records listened to the new material it was clear that this was something different. Refreshing, fantastic rock songs, catchy and with a quality you may expect of these very experienced musicians. Reason to offer a contract straight away.
