16:50 - Erik M. [link] Cliché example of epic doom but still totally awesome.
16:07 - Erik M. I felt the same way initially. Now that I'm almost done with the album I have to say I'm liking 'em more and more. And the music is simply beautiful. It's actually pretty similar to the Clouds album.
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

This band was a key element in Australia back in the 90's who toured and supported big bands such as Slayer and Machine Head. At their peak in relation to the metal scene at that time Allegiance had an original sound of incredible energy distinctive from other big bands. Allegiance was a HUGE staple in the Australian metal scene, I myself and the majority of Australian metal-heads would clearly acknowledge and honour such a great leader who represented the Australian metal scene to the world of metal! Thanks for reading.
Two studio albums: D.E.S.T.I.T.U.T.I.O.N (1994) - Skinman (1996)

Engage should be on Metal Storm because Engage was a great Power Metal band and people need to know about them. Engage tunes are lyrically creative, melodic, dynamic, fast, complex and interesting. It's good stuff!

Salythia's main goal is to shred and kick ass, plain and simple. They don't care for the fame, they don't care for the money, they care for the music, the fans, and the experience of performing live in front of a roaring crowd.
Salythia gives what the metalheads want, including ripping solos, relentless guitar riffs, mosh pits, pure aggression, a strong live presence, intricate songwriting, and a pulsating power that will punch you in the mouth and infect your mind.
All the members derive from different backgrounds of metal music theory, but the fact that they can all come together as one unit to create a unique and signature style is worth noting, and worth seeing for yourself.

Def-Con-One was founded over a decade ago by Antton Lant on drums (former drummer for black metal legends Venom 1999-2009) and Johnny Hunter on guitars. They have released 2 albums, Warface and II and also an EP 'Brutal Force and Ignorance' which all hit you hard from start to finish. Bloodstock Festival actually described Def-Con-One as coming across like a bar fight between Machine Head, Slayer and Pantera.

They are a lesser known band from Austria that seems to fit with many others on this site. One listen & you will be convinced. They have received many respectable reviews as an up an coming band that focuses mainly on today's version of traditional metal.

Founded in 2008 and heavily influenced by Iron Maiden, these guys produce an old school heavy metal sound that is powerful and energetic. They have an EP released in 2011 and their debut album 'The Killing Floor' was released in 2013, both of which are amazing. They are a great live band too

I am writing you asking that you add The Eulogy to your site and consider reviewing the self-titled EP by the band "The Eulogy" released by Flatspot Records. We think that your website is an important one for the metal and hardcore scene and our release is worthy of review. Our band is made up of veterans of the hardcore scene with members that played in Madball, Agnostic Front, Mouthpiece, Straight Faced, Eye for and Eye, 454 Big Block and Collision. The band consists of Matt Henderson and Pete Reilly on guitar, Sergio Chavez on vocals, Kevin Norton on bass and Derek Muraski on drums.
The music was engineered and produced by Nick Jett who may be more familiar behind the drum throne of LA hardcore legends Terror. Our music has been streaming at Noisey and Bandcamp it can be accessed here http://flatspotrecords.bandcamp.com/album/fsr13-s-t-ep I have also included a link to a review of the EP from the Legends Arising website http://legendsarising.com/2015/02/04/review-the-eulogy-st/ .
The music is labeled as hardcore but is as influenced by and sounds more like Obituary, Entombed and Black Sabbath than traditional hardcore like Minor Threat and Black Flag.

Female Fronted Symphonic Power Metal band.
The band was formed at June 17st, 2004 under the name "Vipera" by Adir Colonna And Shiri Burah.
It was a summer night when they started to talk about their wills of a serious musical career.
Adir that came from a background of a death melody band named Kna'an, and Shiri that came from a background of choirs.
They set next to the peer and talked about how they grow farther from music and how they miss that and they want to start something new.
Shiri suggest to form a band inspired by Sonata Arctica and Adir, who wasn't and expert about the genre, decided that it will be a good challenge.
