08:13 - toxx There's always something happening in the norwegian underground: [link]
08:11 - Darth Revan Vong has the fandom split down the middle. Personally, I don't know too much about what happened after the movies as much as I know about what happened before, but some people love it some people hate it
08:08 - Fearmeister Ehhh, just view it as an alternate universe. Though I really really wanted a film trilogy on the yuuzhan vong invasions
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Survivor is a classical rock band. Many people know of this band hits - anthems but unaware of the other great songs and albums.

21.08.2012 - Jaeryd17
I believe they're sufficiently metal enough if you consider the fact that most of they're stuff is based off of original heavy metal/hard rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, etc. It's not as "heavy" or as "metal" as some of the stuff you hear nowadays, but it's still metal/hard rock.
And yes, definitely MASTER EXPLODER.
27.01.2013 - Lit.
The Metal is a good enough reason for them to be on here. Let's put them with the group of other parodies like Dethklok, Steel Panther, Spinal Tap, etc.

IRAKA is a metal band from Madrid that has been around since a while. During these years the band had different band members and it wasn't until 2013 that we couldn't put together some songs in order to make our first album "Génesis".
Influenced by such different bands like Tool, Meshuggah or Lamb of God, Iraka has developed a personal style which is constantly evolving.

So this band started out as a Black/Death metal band under the name Valmer & Hook but later changed their name to Feral in 2007. Since they have produced several demos, one Split album recently with Revel In Flesh, and back in 2011 they produced their own full length album entitled Dragged To The Altar.
If you're a fan of death metal from the land of Sweden, then you'll most likely enjoy these guys.
06.11.2014 - Koen Smits
Are in my fav list since 2011, so yes: bring 'em in.
30.10.2014 - Lethrokai
With their debut release this year, this band has created a phenomenal example of progressive/avant-garde metal done right. They possess all the qualities of a band that deserves to be on this site, from great songwriting and creativity to the technical chops to be able to pull it off right.
You can find the aforementioned album here if you doubt what I'm telling you about: https://blood-music.bandcamp.com/album/the-last-note-in-gods-magnum-opus .
So yeah, put simply they should be on here because they deserve it, and they could really use the extra attention that they don't have enough of yet.

LAST FRONTIER is a heavy metal band from Naples, formed in 2005. The genre proposed is a Heavy Metal atmospheric and experimental results of tastes and influences of each member.

Involutions music is shaped by an individual mixture of melodic and hard guitarsounds combined with powerful vocals and driving drums. Erdmanns unique voice and Marcels melodic leadguitarstyle form an exclusive kind of Heavy Metal, that crawls into your brain to never leave it again (hopefully).
Lyrically Involution don't walk on clicheéd paths: The poetical-philosophical words of the new full-length-album speak in profound pictures to support your Evolution of Thoughts.

Greetings from Bulgaria, Metal Storm crew!
Allow me to introduce myself:
My name is Georgi Dimov and I am a vocalist of Bulgarian metal band lieVeil. I send my letter to you with the following question. Is there a possibility to list lieVeil in your site? We want to announce to your fans and followers that in this year we've released our debut album "Instigator". In the following paragraph I will give a brief description of lieVeil's activity to determine if you have a desire for a further communication.
lieVeil was formed in late 2011 and the work on the debut album Instigator began. In early 2012 was the first live performance. Since then we have made a lot of concerts in different cities with different bands such as: Last Hope, A-moral, Odd Crew, Eufobia, The Revenge Project, Rock n Ghena, Indignity, Symbolic, ViolentorY, Haboryn /Venezuela/, Galadriel /Slovakia/, Awakening Sun /Lithuania/, Above Us The Waves / Greece/
We took part in various festivals such as:
East noise attack 2011
East noise attack 2012
Fete de la music Varna 2013
Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2014
All members of the lieVeil are well known professional musicians involved in many different projects. In early 2014 our debut album - Instigator was released and enjoyed great interest from fans of metal music. Now we are working on our second album which (if everything goes by the plan) will be released in the spring of 2015. We have participated in various festivals and seem that this trend will continue and intensify. We are currently in negotiations with several festivals to specify the conditions for participation. Our band gave interviews for almost every TV and radio shows for the metal music in the country, including numerous websites and magazines, such as Metal Hammer Bulgaria and Pro-rock. Recently we took more seriously the presence of lieVeil in the Web and "looks and likes" of our band increased by progressive pace. I attach links to our pages as follows:

MINDWARS was created in the Fall of 2013 by the desire of two individuals who wanted to bring the sound of metal from the 1980s to the current power of 2014. Mike Alvord formerly of HOLY TERROR and Roby Vitari formerly of JESTER BEAST, met by chance in 1989 when HOLY TERROR was touring Europe in support of their 1988 release Mind Wars. Roby originally from Southern Italy in the region of Calabria discovered that he had similar roots as Mike, being that his grandparents are from the same region. Approximately 25 years later Mike and Roby reconnected through the internet and discussed creating something musically that they both believe has been lost. The result is MINDWARS, an 80s rebirth of speed/thrash metal with influences ranging from Black Sabbath to NWOBHM to Soundgarden.

It should be featured because I think their music suits this site very much. I thought I already have seen the band at Metalstorm, but I might be wrong..?
01.12.2014 - Stereolab42
Was just about to suggest this... these guys are brilliant progressive instrumental doom musicians from Arizona, signed to Prosthetic Records. Their debut, "On the Steps of the Temple", has gotten plenty of good reviews. They really need to be added.

With a modern metal sound that some say is evocative of Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold, Nova Scotia's A Call for Submission was poised to expand their reach with the release of their first studio album, Rise or Fall and the guys did just that. Known for their catchy hooks and melodic vocals, the group has been playing since 2009 and continues to maximize their momentum by continuing to work outside the box and explore territories beyond their comfort zone, only bettering them as a band on and off the stage.

To Dimension Logic (1994) was a very important and underrated album in the early development of Progressive Metal; an album followed up by 2 EPs before their demise. Please check them out via ProgArchives:
25.10.2014 - HasturX
The first LP released from this band is one of the most interesting debut albums i've ever heard, i'ts a mix of metal/prog-rock/doom with something else that makes this band very unique.

Awesome underground melodic death/black metal act from Cleveland, OH since 2009. Released their first album, "Seeking the Frostfire", in 2009, and set to release a follow-up EP, "Siege of Scirehaven", on 11/29/14.
