It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Not quite a metal band, but seeing that other hard rock or glam bands are featured, I do not see why these guys shouldn't be here. Great White is one of the better bands from that thoroughly commercial movement of the 80s.
23.03.2016 - SYCON
We got a full length cd as required. It'd be a great honour to be featured on this site. Here you can find some info:
Sycon bears just one thing in mind with their music - Total Havoc!
Brutal guitar riffs, versatile vocals, stomping beats and atmospheric synths defines the music, all while retaining their melodic metal roots.
Groove Factor Guaranteed!
Sycon was founded in 2009 at Oranienburg, north of Berlin. 2011 they released their first demo EP "Sniper's Poem". 2012 they moved to Berlin-Köpenick and had a fundamental member change. 2013 the only remaining member guitarist Moe joined with Jay from the Philippines as lead guitarist. They released the single "I'm the One" featuring Aurelia's Turm singer Marcel and Declamatory's drummer Fabi. In the End of the year Jay and Moe joined force with drummer Tobi, who was playing the davul and various percussion at the medieval group Obscuratis. Shorty after bassist Lars joined Sycon. 2014 they released the single "Downer" with female singer Seline. In early 2015 they finally found their permanent frontman Daniel, which worked before with Ill Kommodity and as rapper KoH Kain and is known as streamer KæinPlay. In spring 2015 they released the first single "Bulletstorm" of their debut album and played shows such as the Rocktreff open air festival in Berlin and as support for The Vision Bleak. Their self-tilted first album was released on March 27th 2016.

Corvus is a Melodic Metal band from Ukraine. They released their debut album "Raven Rising" in 2012.

Royal Corvus band was formed in September 2005 and the first band name was Corvus. The name was borrowed from Latin, it translates - the Raven. It is a symbol of the wisdom in most ancient religions of the world. Raven is a carrier of souls across the River of Eternity and a binding link between the fragile edge of the World of Shadows and the World of the Living. Initially, the Corvus band was created as a melodic symphonic gothic metal project, but in the process of development and quality growth joins itself the best of the different trends and styles of rock. Now Royal Corvus band has created more than thirty Russian and English-language songs. Song's sound is very different: from romantic ballads to hard and progressive rock. And nobody of the listeners will not remain indifferent, because everyone will find something in this music for themselves. All this different musical styles are merged in one unique style - Corvus style. Besides his own works band plays covers of classic rock and pop songs. During its long history Royal Corvus band many times was engaged in various kinds of rock and bike festivals in Kharkov, and outside it. The Royal Corvus band received invitations and performed in support to rock stars as: Master, Sergey Mavrin, Epidemia, Catharsis, and vocalist of the legendary bands Rainbow and Deep Purple - Joe Lynn Turner. April 28, 2012 the Corvus band has presented their debut album - Raven Rising. October 24, 2012 Royal Corvus was official support group of SCORPIONS in Kharkov as part of the farewell tour "FINAL STING TOUR" .

Adrián Barilari with the keyboardist Hugo Bistolfi, who also left Rata Blanca in 1994, form Alianza, with many musicians sessions, which were the only members permanently was Barilari and Bistolfi. Innate Concept's musical identity is rooted in the Progressive Metal genre - and the word "progression" is to be taken literally. Innate Concept strives to incorporate elements, instruments and ideas normally not found in classic Progressive Metal. The newest album "Sunset In Our Eyes" combines elements from electronica and classical elements into a whole new and unique sound. A multitude of synthesizers create the atmosphere, color and texture, the mighty Taiko drum ensemble delivers power, groove and impact, while the Armenian Duduk conjures up ethereal melodies, adding yet another layer to the rich-bodied symphonic orchestra. A piano and various acoustic guitars are another integral part of melodic storytelling and quite frequently intertwine with other instruments. All of this takes place planted firmly on the foundation of thundering drums, shredding guitars and a nasty, angry bass. Innate Concept's music is challenging, demanding, cunning, powerful, intense, yet so delicate and fragile. Be prepared, for it will demand your full attention - and it will surprise you if you dare a listen. Debut album can be purchased at http://www.innateconcept.com/shop/

Progressive Metal band in the vein of The Human Abstract's Digital Veil album without the harsh vocals. Their debut album Reticence: The Musical has already been released. Definitely worth a listen.

Band 23 is a new name in Croatian scene. Band has recorded their debut MCD and self released it in 66 limited copies. I've watched their short trailer and it sounds very interesting. It is definitely something new...

Definitely one of the most innovative unsigned act in today's scene.
In their debut opus, Sleepless Definitely delivers and successfully
combines the most effective elements that set up a new standard
in atmospheric music.
Merging elements from the "Vintage Days" of the progressive rock
with today's dark Psychedelia, Alternative & Jazz with a Gothic vibe -
creating the soundtrackof the night.
Gathering two highly experienced musicians from the Israeli scene,
producing by themselves their first duet together.
The soft melodic melancholic singing of David Bendayan crossing
with the haunting deep vocals of Maor Appelbaum.
Take a brave step into the world of Sleepless.
It will leave you mesmerized.

Hailing from the darkened streets of New York City comes forth the Gothic entity of the black metal world known as VASARIA, featuring: founder, horror icon vocalist/bassist Baron Misuraca, drummer Marc Del Cielo and guitarist Tommy Conforti.

Yeah definitely, this band is capable of some quality Thrash which I can really see a lot of people on Metal Storm enjoying, especially with the high popularity of the revivalist thrash bands here.

Hailing from Brisbane, Malakyte having opened for acts such as Alestorm, Anthrax, Muncipal Waste, Warbringer and played Soundwave Festival, they just released their debut album 'Human Resonance'.

Widow the Sea are a great sounding band which have realeased one EP and are currently on tour in Australia, I am going to see them live.
They sound pretty original.
They are quite popular in the underground scene where I live and usually headline shows with other popular local bands.
I think they deserve more exposure and having a profile on Metal Storm would give them exposure as that is how I have found about many of my favourite bands through this site.
09.08.2011 - AntiSuperstition
Coz' this guy is fucking amazing, He was top the ten finalist for Guitar Player magazine's Guitar Superstar of the Year in 2008 and has worked with musicians like Zakk Wylde and Bumblefoot. His first solo album, Sonic Stomp, was released in 2006 and the follow-up, Sonic Stomp II, was released in 2010. He is currently working with Russell Allen and Mike Portnoy on a project called Adrenaline Mob.

Great upcoming band from Germany. Fans of melodic death and extreme power metal should check them out.
27.05.2014 - b0sse
Yeah, I agee. The really need to be featured here. They recently released their 2nd album back in 2013.
Nice symphonic power/melodeath/extreme power.
Whatever you wanna call it, it's great stuff.
08.08.2011 - neonxaos
Cryal may seem like just another melodeath band from Finland at first listen, but these guys have some truly energetic stuff on offer. The sound is well-rounded, the musicianship is top-notch and the melodies are as catchy as you could hope for. Well worth a listen, and the band certainly deserves some more attention.
They only have a few demo releases out so far, but there is a full-length album on the way soon. People should just be aware of what's already out, because it's killer stuff.

None Shall Pass is a (Dutch) band formed in 2010 , a mixture of death metal and hardcore.
But not one of the thousand new "Deathcore" bands.
The reason why it should be on Metal Storm in my opinion is this:
First of all it is good for the band database filterd on The Netherlands.
Since the band is getting populair and almost finished there new EP.
Has gigs in some big places (Locale).
And ofcourse supporting the scene.
More interactivity on the web , and getting metal fans / bands getting to know them and vice versa.
Thank you for your time!

Led by singer and multi-instrumentalist Gordon Tittsworth (All Too Human, Dread The Forsaken), Images of Eden is a unification of modern heaviness, American attitude and integrity, complex musicianship and soulful, inspirational lyrics about human struggles and carrying each other through them. "Sunlight of the Spirit" (2006) and "Rebuilding The Ruins" (2011) were released by Nightmare Records, further testament to the group's quality and their place on Metal Storm.

This band is just starting, but they kick a lot of my personal favorites. They definitely represent the new wave of Norwegian Metal!
They give you dramatic but powerful feel with their two public released songs online.
They will soon release their debut album, which should change the world of Metal as we know it today!
I highly recommend you checking one of these songs: Feel Alive - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvzGES8QPHk

Formed in their hometown of Chicago at the end of 80'S, Radakka is a collaboration of four musicians that came from several of the city's successful bands. The group united to work towards achieving a level of musical integrity without compromise.
Motivated to write and perform a style of music that is emotionally directed, regardless of its commercial accessibility or lack thereof. Creating an hard-hitting classic metal sound that highlights vocal harmonies and strong melodies.
03.08.2011 - burningcaskets
One of the most original-sounding death metal bands to emit from Canada in recent years.
Burning Caskets play catchy death metal reminiscent of 90's old school death metal, with a touch of 'new-school' element.

We have been around for ages (formed in 2003). We have and EP and two full length albums. Our latest album is receiving excellent reviews world wide. We have our own unique sound (hard to be objective but that's what all the reviews say). We are currently on the "Slowest World Tour ever" (we move countries every couple of years. Full bio below:
"Yes, our name is stupid, and no, we don't care. A band name is a just a brand name like Cadburys or McDonalds. Our name neither effects nor reflects the music we play. It is unimportant to us."
So states guitarist/vocalist Leah Hinton. Hinton formed El Schlong in Dunedin, New Zealand in 2003 along with fellow music student Nick Baldwin on bass. They cut their teeth and learned their craft in the city's DIY student punk/metal scene before moving to the country's capital in 2005.
Wellington saw a change in style that moved from to quirky and upbeat to more heavy and complex. It also resulted in the importing of their current drummer Jordan Tredray, and the departure of their original vocalist. Faced with the impending recording of their debut album and a huge relocation across the globe to London, the three members of El Schlong decided to begin vocal duties themselves.
"The Baddies Are Coming" was recorded in April 2008 and has received very good reviews worldwide. The album sprawls across the musical spectrum, moving from metal to weird, and all things in between. It is like Satan in the bath puzzled by the ginger pube on the soap......... The fully animated video clip for the title track won second place in the Handle the Jandle music video awards in 2010.
El Schlong moved to London in August 2008 where they forged a place for themselves in the underground scene. Here they honed their skills as a live band and developed the loop pedals and vocal layering that is a feature of their live show. They also spent their two years in London writing and pre-recording their second album.
In August 2010 they packed their bags and set off for the Southern Hemisphere to an extremely successful homecoming tour. "Time/Place" was recorded in August 2010 while in New Zealand and was released in May 2011. It is a huge step up from their previous album and displays the band's growth and maturation as musicians. It is epic and minimal, fierce and gentle, poignant and ponderous.
In 2011 El Schlong have completed the next step in their "Slowest World Tour Ever" by relocating to Berlin, Germany.
So what genre of music do they play? Maybe avant-garde metal best describes it, but you really need to listen for yourself. And the name? Love it or hate it you will never forget El Schlong.................
