It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Not quite a metal band, but seeing that other hard rock or glam bands are featured, I do not see why these guys shouldn't be here. Great White is one of the better bands from that thoroughly commercial movement of the 80s.

Royal Corvus band was formed in September 2005 and the first band name was Corvus. The name was borrowed from Latin, it translates - the Raven. It is a symbol of the wisdom in most ancient religions of the world. Raven is a carrier of souls across the River of Eternity and a binding link between the fragile edge of the World of Shadows and the World of the Living. Initially, the Corvus band was created as a melodic symphonic gothic metal project, but in the process of development and quality growth joins itself the best of the different trends and styles of rock. Now Royal Corvus band has created more than thirty Russian and English-language songs. Song's sound is very different: from romantic ballads to hard and progressive rock. And nobody of the listeners will not remain indifferent, because everyone will find something in this music for themselves. All this different musical styles are merged in one unique style - Corvus style. Besides his own works band plays covers of classic rock and pop songs. During its long history Royal Corvus band many times was engaged in various kinds of rock and bike festivals in Kharkov, and outside it. The Royal Corvus band received invitations and performed in support to rock stars as: Master, Sergey Mavrin, Epidemia, Catharsis, and vocalist of the legendary bands Rainbow and Deep Purple - Joe Lynn Turner. April 28, 2012 the Corvus band has presented their debut album - Raven Rising. October 24, 2012 Royal Corvus was official support group of SCORPIONS in Kharkov as part of the farewell tour "FINAL STING TOUR" .

Progressive Metal band in the vein of The Human Abstract's Digital Veil album without the harsh vocals. Their debut album Reticence: The Musical has already been released. Definitely worth a listen.

Give it a listen. These guys are pretty damn good and the music should speak for itself. I will say give atleast a listen to a couple of songs.
It's brilliant stuff that comes out of the states, and being from the states we need more articulate new bands/music. This is a good show of that.

The Third Grade was born in 2009 as an acoustic project leaded by the vocalist and guitarist Jose Masiá, but after some months composing, the band ended up as a metal band itself.
'The Third Grade', their first LP arrived on the early 2012. Time went by as the band started to play at some venues and also working on new songs when they recorded the single 'Holes'. Short after that, Daniel Castillo as bassist and Laura Millán as singer joined the band.
On 2013, The Third Grade published their second job, an EP called 'The Garden of the Whispers'; with these new five songs the band not only proved their natural evolution as a band, but also a matter of personal style as a band.
After the historic drummer of the band left unexpectedly, in November 2013 Rafa Sáez joined the band.
After the summer, in September 2014, 'Breathe Away', a new single, saw the light. This song means a display of powerful metal, but melodic at the same time, where Jose and Laura's voices play an important role, giving the song that epic aura that makes it special.
Before 2014 comes to an end, The Third Grade will introduce to the world their new acoustic EP: 'Orion'

The Paralydium Project is an epic-progressive metal project founded by John Berg in 2015. Their deliverance of melodic, technical and powerful songs takes you through space and time for an experience beyond borders. With influences from bands such as Symphony X, Dream Theater, Pagan's Mind etc, TPP has created their own significant sound, combining elements from the prog-metal elite into a best of both worlds sound.
The Paralydium Project EP was released in October 2015 and has set new grounds into the world of progressive metal. It is a definite "must have" for anyone who are into this kind of music.

The band started at 2008, and recently released an album called "Vortex of Endless War". This band combining the style of old school death metal such as morbid angel, entombed, suffocation, cannibal corpse, with vibe and sound of the modern death metal. Within 7 years of their journey, they're fairly strong in their own league. They have so much potential to give, but only few people knows them. They play death metal unlike any others, where in Indonesia, new death metal bands prefer to play faster and technical death metal. They play more mid tempo, but still strong enough to kick your ass.

Apallic should be listed on this website, because they seem to be promising.
They released an EP (Somnium) this month and go to the Soundloge-Studio (Suicidal Angels, Sinister, God Dethroned, Dew-Scented, Cliteater) in May again for their first Full-length concept album, which contains a story of a coma patient from different point of views. The music may be not unique, but they have an interesting mixture of styles. Rough influences are Opeth and At The Gates.

Dead End were amongst the first death metal bands to rise from The Netherlands. Alongside contemporaries like The Gathering, Gorefest, Asphyx, Pentacle, Acrostichon, Celestial Season & others they contributed in their own way to the flourishing death metal scene of the late eighties / early nineties.
They are revived and reformed and a band to be reckoned with.

The band describe themselves as a modern melodic metal band, providing creative songs with their own personality inspired by the dark, gritty, rainwet city streets of a dystopian future. They have released an instrumental 4 song EP 'Nano' (2014) and an upcoming release 'Coalition' TBA soon.
