It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

It has been a while since being really blown away from a new discovery.
ProFusion is a bit hard to categorize, combining Progressive Metal riffs, Eclectic stuff a la Beardfish, and catchiness like, well... It just gets stuck in your mind and won't go away.
I've yet to have listened to their first album, but their second one (Rewotower) has really blown me away.
The first song of the album (Ghost House) is available on their Reverbnation page.

I'm just not impressed with bands like this these days...all this type of prog is the same. Sounds like watered down DT...

It's kinda rare to see a band with old influences nowadays. And, to be honest, I think that what they say about rock'n'roll is true:
"ROCK'N'ROLL IS NOT ABOUT TECHNIQUES AND 32-NOTES-A-SECOND SOLOS, IT'S ABOUT TOUCHING PEOPLE WITH YOUR MUSIC".

The Canadian rock band was popular in the late 1970s through the 1980s. Triumph began building their reputation across North America as a live band, peaking in the early 1980s as an import before interest gradually declined. Today, the power trio continue to receive radio airplay on Classic Rock stations and are perhaps best remembered for their positive message songs and their vibrant energetic concerts, complete with extravagant pyrotechnical light shows. Their popularity was extremely strong in Texas, where they first received strong radio attention; but, they were stellar standouts at California's US Festival, and garnered a considerable fan base and radio attention by regularly touring the world, especially throughout North America and Europe. Like their fellow Canadians Rush and Saga.

If Journey and Rush are on this site, so should Triumph. Rik Emmett is a guitar god!

AraPacis (Ara-Patches) is a female fronted metal band hailing from Montreal, Canada. Formed in 2003 by guitarist Jerry Fielden, their main goal was to re-create some of the orignal aspects of 1970's Hard Rock and Progressive Rock and fuse it together with early 21st Century Progressive, Doom & Gothic Metal to make an interesting metal hybrid. Their debut album ''So Many Leapers'' was released in April of 2006. and their second album ''Consequences Of Dreams'' was released on October 5, 2009. The band is now working on their 3rd album.

IRON HEART Artist Bio Iron heart formed in October of 2013 from the Belfast area of Northern Ireland. The band boast a high calibre lineup of seasoned musicians who have been hard at work to deliver their debut studio album Revolution calls. The album is a self release which was recorded at Mr Hippy's studio in Lisburn. It was then later mixed and mastered at by Shaun Nelson at Steelhammer Studio's then released dd/mm/year. The band expand on the NWOBHM mould with a glorious nod to european power metal. The result is massive songs with soaring clean vocals, screaming guitar solo's and thunderous high octane drumming . Vocalist Stevie "K" who already has a whole body of work most notably with UK hard rockers Escape. A seasoned veteran in many genres really turned it all on in delivering a knockout vocal performance on Revoltuion calls. Working very closely with Nelson throughout the entire writing process a special bond was forged joined by Tom Heany bass guitar and Jules Watson drums. Shaun Nelson is the out of towner hailing from Glasgow Scotland. Nelson has played with a whole slew of bands over the yrs, most of note was Attica Rage briefly before relocating to Belfast in 2007. He was voted best guitarist at the Scottish regional final of the 2005 Emergenza Band battle in one of Glasgows biggest venues the O2 Academy. Shaun is Stevie K's partner in crime and is one of the two primary songwriters for the band also doubling up as a mix engineer. Tom Heaney, Nelson and Watson all worked together in another for three yrs before breaking away to start the Iron heart project. Tom has been a staple for many of the local bands in the Belfast area including Bogus vamp and Conjuring fate to name a few. Tom brings a wealth of experience and a rock solid work ethic to the Iron heart table. Jules Watson formerly of Sweet Savage is the behemoth behind the drums on Revolution calls. Jules was part of the lineup when James Hetfield of Metalica joined Sweet savage on stage for a monumental rendition of the song Killing Time in Marly park Dublin 2009. Jules had to call time on the band due to illness in the spring 2014. Watson was then replaced by Andrew Munn in august of 2014. Andrew Munn came to prominence on the scene when he joined Sweet Taste in 2011 leading him to play across N.I. Scotland and Hard Rock Hell festival in Wales. After Sweet Taste, Andrew went on to form Black as Heaven which would eventually disband in early 2014 leading him to audition for Iron heart and to push his drumming abilities to the limit and beyond! After an exhausting search to find a second guitar player, enter Stevie McLaughlin who came into the fold in January of 2015. Stevie formerly of Derry based metallers Sandtone, were on a real tear touring in Europe alongside former Judas Priest vocalist Tim Ripper Owens. Stevie now joins Nelson who are appropriately dubbed the Tuetonic twins in what can only be described as a truly terrifying twin guitar assault. The band are now looking for the opportunity to go out and deliver energetic live performances to promote the Revoltuion calls album.

Unreal it's a symphonic metal band run by CAS, who is also the songwriter and producer behind the bands releases.
The lyrics and the music are based on the classic horror stories. Powerful songs filled with metal and epic/horror soundscapes, combined with a symphonic context.
Album The Raven has been composed by King Diamond

The Hard Rock act SNAKEBITE was founded in North Rhine-Westphalia/Germany in late 2012 when the former Sexx Action members Nikki (vocals, guitar) and Alex (bass guitar) joined forces with Pictura's drummer Julian. SNAKEBITE stands for authentic and timeless Hard Rock music, as this is what the charismatic guys truly believe in: no masquerade - no fake shit - no compromise!
In 2013, SNAKEBITE recorded an album based on Sexx Action songs, but unfortunately, it was never released due to disagreements with a former band member. However, SNAKEBITE composed new songs, released a demo EP via Maniac Attack Records and started touring all over Germany together with Neill Freiwald (Stahlmann, Incubite).
Getting enthusiastic feedback at their live shows, SNAKEBITE once more entered the studio in 2014 to record a brand-new full-length album titled "Princess of Pain". Involving all band members in the songwriting process, SNAKEBITE offer a great variety of songs without drifting away from their typical sound. "Princess of Pain" was mixed, and mastered by Dennis Koehne who had already produced albums of big acts such as Sodom and Lacuna Coil.
In the summer of 2014, Martin Gerloff (Horrizon) joined the band playing the second guitar. The LP "Princess of Pain" will be released in Feb 2015.

Methanol Inc. Formed some time in 2004. Since then lineup have changed few times. Juha remains the only founding member, with his vision still strong. Some "demo" recordings have been done over the years but nothing has ever been released yet. I would describe our music as something between Pantera, Lullacry and maybe Volbeat with a touch of Sentenced.

Roadhog - a classic heavy metal act from Poland, formed in 2012 in Cracow. The band consists of four young, talented heavy metal maniacs with heads full of interesting music ideas. Their image is typically 80's (long hair, jeans, leather, flying V guitars, synchronic stage moves). They don't dress up, that's who they are in real life.
The music is a real tribute to great, old school metal bands like Accept, Running Wild, Iron Maiden or Judas Priest with a fresh approach! Unique vocals, super catchy riffs and melodic solos are band's trademarks. Roadhog played many gigs around their area in small clubs and big events like biker rallys. Having already a demo (2013) under their belts, they recorded the first full length album Dreamstealer. It was produced in Sweden by Olof Wikstrand from Enforcer, a friend of the band. The album is released on Stormspell Records, February 2015.

CYRAX is the meeting of inventive Italian musicians living in the neighborhoods of Milan. All begins in 2012, when Marco Cantoni was intended to realise a heavy metal album: he meet Antonio Rubuano and Paolo Musazzi, and they instantly start writing music. Based on some original Marcos's ideas, Cyrax's songs were written in late 2012, gradually assuming strong progressive and experimental traits. During that time a young singer, Davide De Stefano, offered important contributions in writing vocal lines and drawing the copious choirs characterizing Cyrax's music. At the beginning of 2013 Cesare Ferrari and Paolo Biocchi join the project. In march the group records its debut album, Reflections, which has been worldwide published in october 2013 by Musea. The recording sessions toke place @ RecLab Studio during march 2013. Sound engineers were Larsen Premoli (Fire Trails) and Matteo Bolzoni. Larsen, who also gave important keyboard contributions, appears as guest.

Hailing from Berlin, Germany, "Declamatory" have been a Melodic Thrash Metal band since their inception in 2000, when Toni Watzinger (guitar) joined forces with vocalist Robert Scholich, bass player Marcus Kuscherka and drummer Fabian Weber. In spite of their lack of formal preparation with their respective instruments, the band members set out to find a very special chemistry, fuelled by the will to create some genuine kick-ass metal!
