16:42 - Risto Interesting metal shows are getting more and more scarce here. No Teatria and Nuclear Nightclub is closing down this weekend :(
16:27 - Bad English Erik - I attend what I can in Luleå , dont trevel, it costs so ... but ned ppl damn ude 1h in train you're in Brussels or somewhere in Germany , ok 2h
16:23 - Erik M. I think more variety is definitely a good thing, so most doom subgenres would be nice (death/gothic/epic/funer al). Edgar, I don't attend live gigs often. Last time is already 6 months ago or so. Only when it's close to Tilburg...
16:22 - Bad English Erik I didnt know you attend live gigs , so you saw Marcel and other mates
16:20 - Erik M. Ah that would be a real shame. I haven't been to the first DDD but the last one was my least favourite, I have to say. Then again, the first time (2012) I only saw like 3 bands due to damn train delays (well, mainly :P).
16:14 - Marcel Hubregtse Erik, last year's Dordrecht Doom was by far the worst attended one of the four. So a bit more variation this time. If a certain number of visitors isn't reached this will be the last one.
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Hey there, administrators! Greetings from San Francisco, CA! :) Well, the musician is in the web site, but there isn's any record label, albums, CDs EPs, it missing the discography. Her name is Anette Olzon. I found her really difficult by searching, but there isn't anything about 'Anette Olzon', except, if you go to Nightwish's page and you'll see the past members of the band, and of course you'll find Anette Olzon. I would like to add her debut album as a single and solo musician already. I would like to add 'Shine' in her page in the web site. Still there are many fans of her that would rating her album, 'Shine' released on March 28th 2014. Well my daughter asked for it, to add her debut album in Anette's page, here in the web side. Here's a link of her debut album. (Anette Olzon) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shine_%28Anette_Olzon_album%29

Hi there! We've been in many bands throughout our 15+ years playing and we are in a newer band called The Apex (ex-Blood Shot Eye, Dismata, Corprophemia, Closed Casket Funeral). We are releasing our debut "Self-Titled" album Feb. 7th, 2015 and we are trying our hardest to get our name out there on as many metal social platforms as possible. We strongly feel we are on our way to being one of Canada's heaviest bands and would love to be a part of your website! We have an electronic press kit if that would be of any help: www.theapexband.com. There are songs and videos on there and I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have! I have access to our full album online if you are interested in doing a feature or review. Cheers! -Tyson (Drums)

Blind Spite have been in existence since 1996 playing extreme metal in an insular part of the UK - Cumbria, for the majority of that period there were maybe only another 2 or 3 bands around us of that nature so no kind of scene has ever been possible except using online promotion. The last recording released in September 2014 through Legion Blotan records is by far the best recording appealing strongly to death metal and black metal listeners where there is a considerable divide between fans of the style. We focus on effective songwriting and other worldly atmospheres.
Blind Spite fuse the atmospherics and vitriol of black metal with the brutality of death metal to create an uncompromising and expansive take on the human condition and the vast and uncaring universe we inhabit. Frenzied riffing supported by unrelenting drums twists and swells around atmospheric passages, augmented with a venomous and varied vocal delivery. This is the soundtrack to the insignificance of man.
Formed in the bleak wastes of Cumbria, we have released five Ep's through multiple line up changes, refining our sound towards it's current incarnation in Extinction Event. This blackened atmospheric is what we build upon live, increasing the intensity of our recorded output through new material and an unorthodox and innovative approach. We aim to drench the audience in bleak concepts.

I see that there's still no one that has suggested them, so I'll just go ahead. They're a Belgian experimental metal band (from jazz to deathcore and back). Their 2013 debut album, The Forgotten, can be streamed in full on Bandcamp and Youtube: https://thefrontagency.bandcamp.com/album/the-forgotten https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-YmmuJaUEM It seems they're releasing a new one this year.

SWEET & LYNCH is a brand new band centered around the talents of guitarist/vocalist Michael Sweet of Christian hard rockers STRYPER and iconic guitarist George Lynch (LYNCH MOB, ex DOKKEN) along with bassist James Lomenzo (ex MEGADETH, WHITE LION, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY) and drummer Brian Tichy (ex WHITESNAKE).
"SWEET & LYNCH was born as the brainchild of Serafino Perugino, President of Frontiers Music", recalls Sweet. "He asked me to basically sing on this record and then I suggested producing it and co-wrote the songs with George", continues the singer. Brian Tichy and James Lomenzo were then called in to complete the lineup. Now a complete a band, plans are being formulated to rehearse and book a tour to play the music included on this amazing debut album "Only to Rise" to the fans in a live setting.
"It's an incredible combination of classic 70's and 80's", tells Michael Sweet. "You will hear some flavors of Journey, Bad Company, Dokken, Van Halen and Stryper. James and Brian are amazing musicians. They tore it up. The drums and bass are just as impressive as the guitars. Everybody really delivered... The musicianship level on this is top notch. It sounds as if we were all in the studio playing together and we were not. Basically, George wrote some riffs about a minute to a minute and a half long. I wrote lyrics and melodies then arranged them. Then Brian and James came out and tracked the drums and bass, as well as some rhythm stuff. We then sent it back to George to add the guitars."
The combination of Sweet's powerful, crystal clear vocals and Lynch's unmatched guitar tone, provide the force and drive that the album needed. The result is truly a "state of the art" Hard Rock album, with fabulous melodies played to perfection. An absolute must for all fans of Sweet and Lynch's musical stylings!

Alborea is a project that aims to bring together the best national, known and not so well known vocalists, a choral work divided into three parts based on the literary trilogy "His Dark Materials" by Phillip Pullman .
The disco style might fit within the progressive power metal sung in Castilian, with influences as Avalanch, Symphony X or Kamelot. The dramatic orchestral arrangements, pertaining to sound libraries recorded by engineer eleven times Grammy nominee, Keith O. Johnson and produced by Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix (Spider-man 3, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Harry Potter 5, 300 ...) are very present throughout the play, which aims to mix the grandeur of movie soundtracks with modern metal.
The first disc of three, composed entirely of Juan Palacios (drummer Perfect Smile) in 2006, has started to be recorded this July 2014, after several years kept waiting for the right time.
Alan Cueto (Divine Disturbo) on guitars and Adrián Martín (Perfect Smile) on bass complete the training that is recording the album, whose output is expected this 2014.
