Biography

It was a dark winter night in December 2003 when George Julius, being in a deeply contemplative and introspective mood, decided to form a band that would base its sound on sheer power, aggression, electronic and industrial elements along with majectic and eerie chords all of which would ultimately create a pioneering soundscape that no one has ever experienced before. However before all this could become true an important decision had to be made... Choosing the ideal band members that would help him make his dream come true wasn't an easy choice. After deep thinking and careful analysis the members were found in the form of Harry Noctifer and Mike Lord, two strong and different personalities, important ingredients to make the end result sound even more promising and multi-layered. Mors In Tabula was no more a dream, but it had started taking flesh and shape. George Julius' passion and thirst for hard work created a powerful and extreme result. Things were obvious now, his vision was crystal clear and within his grasp to realize. Thus he managed to compose and record a full length work in the inconceivable period of three months. His first offspring is a mixture of a dark abyssal atmospheres with powerful guitars, rhythm section that smacks you in the face, raw and demonic vocals, bombastic synths and thunderous effects bringing fear to the souls of the ignorant. All these are blended in with the eerie atmospheres of horror films, taking the listeners to a journey within their own illusions and personal fears. The monster has already been born and it's name is "BLEMISH". Four tracks have been specially and carefully chosen for promotional purposes, "Blood Path", "M/K Ultra", "Eye of the Abyss" and "Noctifer". This innovative and pioneering endeavour was recorded at Lunatech (www.lunatechsounds.com) studios. All tracks were produced, engineered and mixed by Dimitris N. Douvras. And to quote the band... "This creation is the reflection of our souls". In September 2007 Harry Notifer left the band due to personal reasons, however this has neither signaled nor triggered Mors In Tabula's final moments. Rather the contrary, since the band is currently in the studio with brand new members working on a new record and developing new ideas, preparing new material, exploring new sounds and being darker and more powerful than ever!
