Biography

Visceral Damage is a Spanish Brutal Death Metal band, located in Valencia, formed in 1998. His name is synonymous with violent and faster guitar riffs, demolishing bass guitar, growling vocals and killing drums.

Initially they were five members, Luis G. (bass), Santi (drums) Harold (guitars), Toni (guitars) and Oscar (vocals). With this lineup they recorded in 2002 their first demo, "The Feast of Flesh", musically influenced by the great american Death Metal bands of early 90's. After this the band signed a contract with the spanish label Xtreem Music, with whom they released their debut album, "Garden of Mutilation", in August 2004. In September of the same year Toni was replaced by Maelo, and one year later Harold and Oscar left the band, consolidating Visceral Damage as a trio.

During the first years of the band their lyrics were extremly gore. Later, the themes of his lyrics were inspired by the ills of mankind as a starting point, passing by wars, hatred, vice, religious fanaticism, wrath, corruption, anger and revenge.

In January 2008 they entered the studio to record their latest album, "Icon of Massive Murder", an amazing work dedicated to the downfall of humanity. In June of this year the band signed a record deal with Metal Age Productions, Slovakian label which published the album above. A few months later Santi decided to leave the band, and soon was replaced by David, a renowned drummer in the local metal scene.

In October 2010 they signed with the Romanian booking and promotion agency Metal Maniac, with the intention of performing concerts outside of Spain and become known in the metal music scene in the rest of Europe.

Currently they are working in new material for their upcoming full length album.
