Biography
The story of Phantom Pain begins back in 2004 when Dor (guitars and vocals) and Adam Shatenstein (drums) met each other during dor's music class final composition exam for the recording of the band first single 'Obidian'.
The band held a single show before dor joined the IDF and the band went to a long break till 2006.
Since 2006 and 2009 the band got back on track in full throttle performing more than 40 shows and releasing the debut EP 'The Hypocrite' in august 2008.
During October 2009 the band went through a major lineup change and Dor was the only band member left from the Original lineup,and several months after- Dor managed to establish a new lineup which is the current one.
Now, after the lineup change the 2010 version of Phantom Pain began writing a debut full length album which will be recorded during 2011 and will most likely kick the asses of metalheads worldwide, the combination of all that we find good (and evil) in the traditional sounds of the fathers of death metal such as Morbid Angel and various modern influences and of course our sick minds will assure a brutal yet sophisticated and mind blowing experience for every listener and anyone that will dare to stand in front of us while were tearing the stage apart.
