Biography

Falkenbach concideres one man band by Vratyas Vakyas.

Falkenbach has never done any live gig so far, now when he finally managed to find couple of session musicians there might be a possibility to see them on stage some day...
"En Their Medh Riki Fara?" ["..and glorious they will pass.."] was released in 1996 [No Colours Record] but actually this is not the actual debut.

In 1995 Vratyas Vakyas started to record an album Fireblade but due to heavy problems with the studio equipment Vratyas decided to stop the session a short while before the mix. Fireblade was never released in any matter.

The debut album caught the attention of Napalm Records, they released his 2nd album Magni Mlandinn Ok Megintiri ["...mixed with strength and pride glory..."] in 1998.
While "...En Their Medh Riki Fara?" was more black metal influenced, the 2nd album was focused mainly folk and hymn-like composition. Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri was noticed and rated high in folk metal genre but the time was not ready yet...

Took six long years without a single word from this band untill in 2003 Vratyas entered the studio with three session musicians, Boltthorn, Hagalaz and Tyrant from the band Vindsval.
"Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty" ["and call Tyr twice"] was recorded at TidalWave Studios and Napalm records released it end of 2003.

In the end of 2005, Vratyas released another masterpiece; again with the presious help of the previews session members [(Hagalaz (guitars, acoustic guitars, keys) Tyrann (screams, spoken parts) Boltthorn (drums, percussions)].
"Heralding - The Fireblade" album was recorded at TidalWave studios and released by Napalm records.
The album was released in 2 different versions, as regular CD-version and as limited digipack release; which contains the bonus track Gjallar.

Vratyas Vakyas also owns a record label Skaldic Art Productions. In the half of 2006 SAP was "put on ice".

Almost all the album titles are quotations from original Edda, a collection of mythological, heroic and aphoristic Icelandic poetry from the 12th and 13th centuries. Vratyas Vakyas means "the searching wanderer" and symbolises two levels of Vatan, a philosophy of live based on Asatru.
