Biography
The seeds for the new wave of Estonian rock were planted in the fall of 2003 when Martti Leetsar and Mikk Tammepõld joined together to form the original line up of Brides In Bloom.
After leaving their previous gigs in locally popular bands, the former media art students found themselves in need of a new outlet for the music they didn't have the opportunity to fully explore in their former bands.
Having similar backgrounds and wide ranging musical influences, which encompassed everything from jazz to prog rock, they began writing and molding what would become the Brides signature sound.
Mikk's heavy melodic vocal style reminiscent of the great arena rockers of the past is the perfect conduit for the fervent guitar-driven songs and performances that have earned them chart-topping status.
