O2 Arena intimate?
This is the O2 Academy in Birmingham, not the arena in London... it is tiny for a band like Black Sabbath...

Okay it''s not as big as the London one, but I still wouldn''t call a capacity of 3,000 intimate. Intimate shows for me would have to be crowds of under 1,000. |

Ya there was a record shop in the heart of downtown Edmonton that housed a maximum 50 people, and you'd get some decent extreme metal bands playing there from time to time.
I've never been, but playing to a crowd of 50 people sounds more intimate than 3,000. That's a lot of people to have around you. |

It is. I try to stay clear of indoor shows with more than 500 people present.
I hate biog crowds. That''s one of the reasons I am skipping Hellfest this year. 35,000 people is just way too many for me to enjoy a festival. |
