Alcest - To Release 'Kodama' Album In September

The French duo Alcest will release their new and fifth album Kodama on September 30th, 2016 via Prophecy Productions, it was just announced. The band has also revealed the album's cover artwork and song titles. "Kodama" is the Japanese word for both "tree spirit" and "echo". The artwork has been done by the French duo Førtifem. Alcest - To Play Entire 'Écailles De Lune' Album At Prophecy Fest

Prophecy Fest 2016 is shaping up nicely! The first two artists have already been announced. The German festival showcases bands from Prophecy Productions and Alcest will offer a complete performance their classic Écailles De Lune album plus a "best-of" set! This special performance will be exclusive to Prophecy Fest 2016. The band will be performing the album in its entirety for the first time.

Alcest - To Headline North American Tour

The French duo Alcest is returning to North America three years after their latest headline tour. At the time, the band was showcasing the album Les Voyages De L'âme while now they will be presenting the newest creation, Shelter. Alcest will tour in Mexico, Canada and the United States in September/October 2015. Their support guest on this tour will be Emma Ruth Rundle (Marriages, Red Sparrowes).

Alcest - Announce German Shows With Lantlôs

Alcest and Lantlôs are joining forces for a German tour. Probably other countries would like to see this package, but for now the bands will only play a German tour in September. Alcest - European Headlining Tour Confirmed

Alcest have recently revealed dates for a new three-week tour to take place in January/February 2014 in Europe to promote their upcoming new fourth album Shelter. The band will be accompanied by Hexvessel, the Finnish folk/psychedelic sorcerers, and also The Fauns, a shoegaze/dream pop act from the UK.
