05:42 - God Buster 鬼 Darkthrone, probably is the No.1 most overrated band in the entire metal history. I like nothing from them
05:38 - Apothecary I always get a chuckle out of when girls ask for my Skype username (blackmetalsage) and I realize they probably don't even know I'm referencing black metal. Just like "oh, he's black, and he knows a lot about metal"
03:40 - !J.O.O.E.! I realise now I get a lot of Boards of Canada vibes from it, which would explain why I like it so much.

Technical death metal act, Beneath The Massacre, have announced Marée Noire, as the title of their forthcoming EP which will be released in North America on September 14th. The effort was co- produced by Chris Donaldson, known for his work with Cryptopsy, with guitarist Chris Bradley and the band. It was mixed by Donaldson and mastered by Alan Douches (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, Converge).
Bradley commented on the release: "Marée Noire was written using a different approach than the preceding release. We wouldn't start the writing process from the same point. Some songs were more structured by melodies while others all started from drums pattern. I think it makes the songs stand out a little more."
Canadian metallers Beneath The Massacre have posted a new song, entitled ''Our Common Grave'', on their MySpace page.
The song comes off the band's forthcoming album, which is called ''Dystopia''. The album was recorded again with St-Amand (Despised Icon, Ion Dissonance, Neuraxis) and featuring artwork from Felix Rancourt.
''Dystopia'' will be released on October 28th via Prosthetic Records.

Afterwards, Jason Suecof (The Black Dahlia Murder, God Forbid, Chimaira) will mix the record, which is currently slated for a fall 2008 release through Prosthetic Records.
"So we just came back from our headline tour in the US. We had a blast." Beneath The Massacre vocalist Elliot Desgagnes says. "A lot of people showed up and all the bands on the package were super cool dudes. We're now working hard on the new material that will be recorded starting in April at Yannick's studio. We can't wait to enter the studio. We'll probably be posting video and blogs to let all you guys know what's going on in studio. Stay tuned."
